It's No Surprise

Sigh... had been doing my biology assignment for the past 4 hours and all I've done is 2 questions. That's how slow my pace is. Goodness!! Couldn't pour maximal attention onto doing work. Focus kept drifting apart. Once again, I'll be going back to school real soon and prior to going back, I'm cuckoo - upset. Sigh...

Biology and Computer assignments incomplete;biology report untouched; haven't read a single word to prepare for coming tests. Ergh... hating it... Why am I always so lazy?? I'll usually sit my butt down to do work or study when I crack under pressure that is when deadlines are approaching but it's really taxing.... eg. now.... PppffffTTtt!! Tireddddddd.......

Anyway, I enjoyed my very laid back Chinese New Year. Will post about it after I'm done with all the shenanigans of my tedious boring assignments. Sighhh.....

Fashion Crisis

Chinese New Year's tomorrow and I've nothing to wear!! uh oh!!

Had been to a few places with bro being my chauffeur but nothing nice caught my desperate attention. Went to the place where I got my lovely dresses last Chinese New Year but this time round, the dresses were a total despair. No joke.

At first, I exuberantly got ready to shop and when I got to where I wanted, was so eager to try on something nice but shop after shop, disappointments arose. My bro, Iannie was really sweet to accompany me shop by shop and drive me wherever I want to go. Grateful. After a few places, I relinquish the minuscule pinch of hope I had left to stumble upon nice dresses so, I decided to get a new pair of skinny jeans at the usual place where I get them, yet again, hopes were stampeded into imperceptible microscopic dirt. Sigh...

Yesterday, Blackie's dad was so sweet. He offered to give me a pair of jeans from his shop. Give. haha... So touched but I was shy and since I'm seriously not much of a jeans person, I told him it's alright. Jeans to me is a necessity but I won't opt for expensive branded ones. tee hee...

We shopped around for 5 hours and the first 4 and a half was pathetically devastating. Since mission to find jeans and dresses failed, I moved on to heels. Charles & Keith was my main and probably only target. They sent me a message saying there's new stock for their Spring Collection earlier in the morning, and.....I found one which I'm truly deeply mesmerisingly in love with. It's really pretty...to me,at least. My bro and Blackie both say it is too. I'm happy happy happy. I have nice heels for CNY. =)

Ann didn't manage to find anything too so our mission for clothes hunting resumes later. Wish us luck. Gonna need plenty.Ian will be our trusty driver. I think Ann and I have the best brother..haha... =D

Lynn Loves Flying Home

I'm back in Kuching! yay!
Comfy Womfy Fomfy Pomfy...

Now that I'm back home once again, the 3 weeks that had passed felt nothing more of a glimpse. Intrigued. The next thing I know, I'll be flying back there and then later back home again........ over and over again.... time just lubricate it all... sweeping by so gently...resulting in oblivious awe until you really think about it...

So my trip back this time is slightly different. I'm usually a lone soul looking like an emotionless-mechanical-lithium-operated-cog queuing up impatiently at the check-in counter with an antisocial constipated grimace doodled all over my pale face because I couldn't bring myself to tolerate the rate at which those counter ladies were working on and also the disorganized queuing lines. Ok ok... budget airlines...I get it... my apologies... =) Since they are providing us with their lowest possible fares, quality of services had to be compromised.

However this time, I had friends boarding same flight with me. Although I don't know them well but , it was better than being totally alone and sitting with strangers. They were really nice and friendly : accomodating. The ever so shy and antisocial me can feel at ease and comfort, you get my drift of how nice they are right? haha... Glad to know them.

When the plane landed, my parents were already there waiting. yay!! I was so worried that my dad would be late again like the previous 2 times. GrrrRRrr!!! lalalalala....
joy..

Went to have a quick peek in Charles&Keith just now. New heels for Chinese New Year. I've made my secret agreement with mummy already. She's going to give me money to shop. hehe.. I'm seriously at the brink of breaking down. The gigantic desperation bell is jinggling aloud but never numbing my eardrums. I want nice clothes for Chinese New Year!! Really really want. Please oh please, let me serendipitously stumble upon a couple of pieces here. You may think I'm making an unnecessary fuss over CNY but I absolutely adore festivities. They are all of impeccable importance to me!! Christmas,Chinese New Year, My birthday(chiefly), Valentine's Day so on so forth. haha.... Actually, those are the only ones I can think of. The "so on so forth" is just to corroborate and fortify my earlier stand. haha....

My sister is so thin now.She seem to be constantly losing weight. How? With superb ease. No fair! I'm coveting. I gained a bit over the brief period of time back in school. Sigh... You see how tormenting it is there. haha.... I meant the food part. There's nothing particularly nice to feed on, yet, I can gain pounds. Maybe it's because of the portion and gluttony me is always inclined to gobble it to the point the plate sparkled? But I'm sure the palpable culprit is still the irresistable supper. Utterly detrimental. But I still can't resist my "Honey Naan". eeyerr....

Freaking tired now. Wasn't even close to getting adequate shut eye last night. My lids weigh a gazillion tonnes now. -_- Tata...

Happy Holidays Darlings!

I'm Happy..I'm Feeling Good...I've Got Sunshine...

Update : Yesterday, we ended up in Timesquare instead of 1U due to time constraints.... Didn't get a hold of any dresses but bought other stuffs instead... sad... Now, I've to endlessly scour the whole of Kuching to find something to wear on CNY. =( I've no dress,no jeans,no heels, and no money.... hehe.... ohh mummyyyy...ohh daddyyyyy.. hehehehehe.... You know I love you...

Good morning dearest darling sweethearts....

I'm happy!!

Oikonomos

I'm having my first Economics test this coming Tuesday and as I've mentioned in previous posts, I don't get Economics. -_-" I cannot afford to flunk the test so yesterday, I started plunging into its tome.....more like drowning... The book is larger than my life at this moment as I'm hanging on its edges to survive... I can't really concentrate while reading it maybe because I'm anti-business and have no interest in it or maybe because I'm flying home soon. Tee-hee... =D

I was the only one in the supposedly reading room. Nice.. =)
Zeeee Boooook...
It's distracting to study in my room because if I do so, I'll study on the bed either lying or sitting down which makes me drowsy so I went over to the common room to study. The bed is like some anesthetic filled syringe, even with it's hard jutting springs. Sigh.... Speaking of which, I planned to wake up at 11am this morning but as expected, I failed. Woke up at 2.30pm instead. There goes my study time. The opportunity cost of extra sleeping time is less time to study. Really bad...

I have not exactly prepared for my speech. Tomorrow's Monday, another speech for Public Speaking class. pfffftt.... Thank God, Miss Freeman's such a sweet teacher. pheww...

Just now, Yi Ean invited me to play Big Two with her and Madonna. I used to love that game back in Primary 6. Haven't played ever since. Kind of forgotten but after a while, recalled a bit. It was funnnnnn...... And guess who approached victory?? Yours truly!!! =D
I won 7 games, Madonna 3 games and Yi Ean 2 games. Yay! Economics was involved too. Everytime you put down a card, you've to weigh the marginal cost and benefits and then think about the opportunity cost of putting down the bigger cards.haha zee crappiness is unbearable...
Yi Ean shuffling.
Madonna was explaining why she lost in the previous game.
Aranging..
It's late. Sigh.. Got to bury my nose under my Economics book again and start organizing my speech. lalalalalala....

Going home this Thursday afternoon. can't wait can't wait can't wait. =D

Uh Oh~~ Dilemma

Just when I thought I've settled down for this semester, my preferred lecturer for Calculus was rumored that he'd be taking a break the whole semester!! Oh no!! What would be of my Calculus 2?? At the moment, Mr. Chan is taking over his class temporarily or permanently, I'm unsure but I really don't get a thing he said. His teaching methods are very different from that of Mr. Nathan's. I really cannot afford to get a bad score which would pull my GPA into the gutter. NOOOooo!!! Not being ungrateful whatsoever but I was pretty disappointed with my GPA last semester after I thought through. Got to try pull it up although it's hell load of work. But Calculus is an impediment and with Mr. Chan, it's impossible.

Solution : DROP Calculus 2 this sem, pick it up next sem. Quite a few of us are planning to do so. Fortunately, there's still time for add/drop. Seldom a time things are smooth sailing. Now, I do not know what to add after dropping calculus. =( The last time I checked the courses' timetable, I can fit in Psychology or Chemistry. Safwana called me and say we can take US History 2 also. We both have the exact same timetable. =) I'm torn between Chemistry and US History now. If I take Chemistry now, maybe next sem would be slightly laid back?? I don't want to take Chemisty, Physics, and Calculus 2 in one whole semester. That,I'll await my demise only laaaaaaaaa. I still cannot make my decision because after what is done is done. No more add/drop after today. So dangerous. haha

Maybe it's wise to finish the US Histories here rather than dreading it and take it in US which would be way more difficult, I think since I'm sure US professors would be very particular and meticulous about their country's facts. Thanks to my big fat mouth for the past few days. I've been saying that I miss Professor Borges, my Sociology lecturer last semester. Now, I've got what I asked for, I suppose. He's teaching US History. -_-" Ya la Lynn, talk more rubbish la next time. Errghh...*slap slap*

I thought of taking Psychology since my mentality is that it's similar to Sociology but I do not know how right I am and others say it's really difficult to score.. lalalalalalala..... dilemma...

Which to take?? These 3 subjects are the only ones that fits into my timetable.... woefully dilemmatic...

Update (4.36pm) : hahaha... I dropped Calculus and I took....Computer and Information Processing to replace it. Funny... Really never considered that... But I'm happy because sooner or later we'll need to take that too... And best of all, I have absolutely no classes on Friday! Joy... =D

Sincere Truth

Update 5.19pm (18 Jan) : All confusions are cleared. It's a meager misunderstanding....I don't know how to say this right but deep down, I'm actually really really glad that we're friends once more... All you guys who had heard or read stuff, it's really nothing anymore.

Update 12.50am(15 Jan)
: I am seriously baffled. I do not know what's true and what's not now once again.I'm sorry. I'm confuse. I'm so grateful Blackie and my bro are here for me when I am in great need of them. XOXO!! I don't want extra clarification anymore. I rather ignore it as that made me not mind anything anymore and start new. I just don't want to recall those depressing moment which I've decided to let go last year but it hurts having to recapture it again and to found out new stuffs. What the hell!! I just don't want to ever talk about it as I do not want to be torn in between again. She was my friend and others are my friends as well. Why I trust this and not that is really disturbing. Everybody were new. How was I to know. I was so hurt as I've heard so much for so long even if it wasn't true. Sigh... This post rends me into pieces.

Update 12.45pm (14th Jan) : I am so emotionally tired and muddled. It's all coming back to me again, I don't know why. The whole 2 hours in Public Speaking class, I couldn't restrain myself from thinking about the whole thing. Sigh...maybe it's the lack of sleep. toodles!

I know it's lengthy and verbose but just read on.

We, humans are fallible. We are subject to trial and error to learn stuff but sometimes we have our own perception to stuff or other times, we subconsciously or consciously just want to pick up negative stuffs and ignore all positives just to spice things up. That's human nature and it's pretty difficult to defy our nature,is it not?

I am actually a very gullible person which makes me very insecure and self conscious if you haven't already noticed. Therefore, what I hear people say about me matters a lot. In my case, words are the most powerful and easiest tool to break me. Honestly. I'm slowly learning the ways to ignore rumors, my utmost fear. That's why I always prefer to stay really hidden and low profile. I may come off as antisocial and arrogant but it really isn't intentional.....I've heard that a lot and I was numbed by that long ago. I just suck at socializing.

Anyway, I'm slowly patching up with my flaw of believing every single thing I hear especially those that concerns me. Last semester was a delirium not only to myself but to the person involved. I've had time to reflect during the holidays and realize how idiotic I was to see so heavily of the small matter. It was merely a minuscule misunderstanding which I avoided to solve entirely, instead, I kind of ran away from it and let it haunt us for the entire semester of which I truly regret.

The first friendship I made here went awry. We were really close friends and
you've seriously no idea how caring she was to me and I really appreciate every single bit of it. I constantly tell my parents and Blackie how nice she is but apparently, something went wrong.

I started hearing that she had said some bad things about me to others for more than a month. I was so saddened by all that and I was focusing too much on all those negative stuffs and that severely got the better of me. I was stuck in a rut at that point, my self consciousness got a firm grip of me. I shut down what I knew about her attitude and was lured into believing all those I heard. I know how rumors always get exaggerated and twisted, yet, I blindly believed them. I sincerely took time to think back, and I realize how foolish I was last semester. I've made life hard for myself. Honestly, I haven't known her for a very long time yet and my other good friends told me what they heard. I was torn in between but because I heard it from a few friends not only one so, I ended up believing the rumors but I didn't listen to her part of the story. It was a puzzling situation and I guessed I didn't quite maneuvered the correct way.

Honestly, I was a tad selfish as I was so engrossed in only my own feelings. I kept thinking about how sad and hurt I was but I neglected how she felt about the matter. She was definitely feeling the same as we were both best of friends here in the beginning. We trusted each other so much and I really enjoyed her company. She gave me a sense of home. After those rumors stroke, all I did was constantly think about myself and no one else. This is where Prof. Borges's theory of ME ME ME applies. I kept thinking about all that I heard over and over again;cried over and over too everytime Blackie asks me how I'm doing. I realize how foolish of an act it was and I really apologize on the parts where I'm at fault. In one of my posts last year,I depicted as though she was the only one at fault but the truth is we're both at fault.

In every problem, both parties have a fair share of wrongdoings. Think about it and you'll find that very true but the thing is we tend to push the blame to the other party and ended up hurting each other more and more. In the very end, we're the one who are at loss. Everyone of you are just the audience who are in it for the entertainment and thrill but you couldn't care less about what's happening to those involved. You might show sympathy or empathy but deep down, you are really just in for the entertainment and you might find it really nice to spread around and make things even worse for those involved in a particular problem.

We both kind of felt sorry towards each other up till the point that it was difficult to face each other. Perhaps it was the guilt that laid inside us. We then avoided each other thinking we dislike seeing each other which isn't the case. She's not around because she thinks I do not want to see her;I don't see her around so I thought she disliked seeing me. Things get that much more complicated and muddling when you don't sit down and clarify all the misunderstandings as we jump to our own conclusions causing miscommunication.

It's a new year, a new semester, why let the past haunt us and bring us down once more?? We've clarified everything. Those of you who follow my blog or coincidentally stumble upon the post which I blabber about the friendships that I cannot comprehend, I want you all to know that I wrote that out of rage and frustration. I didn't weigh both sides of the story well instead I just picked up the negatives . I sincerely apologize for the lack of rationality and practicality. I'm really immature, I'm extremely aware of that so, I just cannot control my thoughts when I'm upset. All that I could think of are the bad stuffs which then, beleaguered me with negative thoughts in times of distress and at that point, I couldn't take it anymore so I just blurted all that was running through my mind so as I could end it once and for all. I didn't want to burden and worry other people by bringing up the story and they'd have to comfort me and all so, I just blog about it. My blog is my personal ranting ground and I never knew they are actually people other than my Kuching close friends reading it.

For those of you who are making a big fuss over that particular post regarding friendship, that's just the negative side of the story which I heard but seriously, all that I jotted down were what I really heard back then.I'm not adding rotten condiments into it. Be aware that those I heard were rumors, and I'm sure all of you knows how thickly fabricated rumors are. I didn't bother to filter them when I blogged about it and it's presumptuous for you guys to judge us and jump into your own conclusions. I really despise it when certain people think badly of another based on hearsay. I find that really unfair. You should get to know a person before you judge what kind of a person she or he is.

Gossiping is inevitable but gossips can be made within your own close circle of friends. There's no need to pass the message around to every complex living organism especially when you do not know how true it is.

I'm only human with many flaws and I'm slowly learning to not care of what others think of me but care only about the thoughts of those who are dear to me.

Do not always believe what you hear. There's always always always two sides to every story and it's only fair that you weigh both if you're keen to intervene or else, just stay away and don't be judgmental.

Last semester is history, lesson learned, life goes on anew, want to reconcile with what I didn't back then which includes studies, eating and spending habits. Gosh, I've taken my life so lightly last semester. Forgive me, I was new to the whole living far from home thing and I am parasitically dependent on my parents..still am..hehe...

Anyway, I've voiced out everything and all that I mentioned are truly sincerely genuinely from the bottom of my heart. This is what I feel now.

I know how I like to always think negatively and ignore those good things we've been through and that gave Blackie a couple of hard times. haha...

Blackie always say that the one mistake he made can immediately overshadow the 10 nice things he did. That's true. See, I told you we tend to recall only the bad and seldom of the good.

I wish all is ok now. Could bygones really be bygones??

Youth '09 .......

The Youth '09 thing ended yesterday. Maddie and I went on Saturday to just check it out since we were left with nothing better to do. It was a day of fun and humor. Both us Sarawakians aren't exactly familiar with the whereabouts in KL so we both had our fair share of asking around. haha.. We then acted like tourists. haha...

That guy's so creative! That's half of his work. The other side was nicer.

First, we boarded the public bus to the KTM station. Bought our tickets and wait for the train to Putra Station. A train came and it's towards Rawang. We got in but after a few seconds, Madonna, Little Miss Confident said we boarded the wrong train because it's to Rawang so she said "let's get off quick." Since she was so confident, I blindly got off the train only to realize that it was the RIGHT train. hahaha....Laughters on us. The reason why she thought it was the wrong train was because the door of the train is different from other trains she boarded before. -_-" haha

After an hour + , we arrived at Putra KTM Station but hehe... we didn't know how to go to PWTC so we had to ask around for a bit. Funniest was when we asked the security guard standing outside "The Mall" where PWTC is when it's actually just opposite that mall. haha.... tourist what, right? haha...

The Youth thing was errrm alright, I guess. Nothing much though. We didn't really explore too anyway since we were actually only there for the Youth Designer Festival to shop.

We got sprayed tattoos. Maddie is all about tribal and I adore hearts but that's the only heart stencil they had so..... yea... p/s: My stand would still be against permanent tattoos. Take no umbrage tattoos lovers. =)
Both of us bought horny clips. Horny as in devilish horns not orgasmic horny. haha

I bought 2 ballerina charms but I've no idea why. Guess I still get easily attracted to ballet related adornments.

We then perambulated around "The Mall" (that's the name of the shopping mall) but there wasn't anything nice at all so we headed to KLCC.
I like cute tumblers and it has fancy straw. Extra points. I didn't buy it though. If I tell Blackie, I'm sure he'll say I'm stupid. haha

Basically, just walked a bit but didn't really focused on shopping for Chinese New Year but I really like all those big brand shops. I really want to earn lots of money next time and marry a successful man then splurge on those brands. hehe.... *fantasizing* As for now, I can only covet those who can afford those stuffs. hehe...

My attempt to act like a tourist but I got shy, thus, ugly angle and whatnots.
I love big brands but let me stress again, I'm very well aware that they are out of my league at the moment ok. The main reason to why I like Chanel is because Blackie got me a Chanel perfume. hehe... I'd love anything he gives me. =)

Didn't shop much but somehow, money depletes fast. Perhaps of the transportation costs. I like KL but I definitely do not want to live here. Life's so hectic.

It was a really fun but exhausting day.So many funny and weird stuff that Maddie did but of course, I can't pour it out here else I won't see tomorrow. She'll turn me into a shrunken head using the authentic headhunter style. haha....Recently,she had built a peculiar interest towards shrunken heads. A tad freaky. eeyyerr...

I AM SAD

I had just done my preparation for the speech which I'll be presenting in 11 hours time. Once again, last minute but I know I'm not the only one. I saw Madonna working on hers at 2 am just now so, it's all fine. By the way, I underestimated a one minute speech. It's difficult. You have minimal time to talk yet so much to say but got to restrain yourself yet make it interesting. -_-"

I rehearsed just now and it took me 1 minute and 11 seconds. pffffttt.... Hopefully I don't blow it tomorrow with unnecessary pauses and those errrmmm ahhhs. haha... Tired to memorize it verbatim so just going to go with the flow when the time comes. Really tired and lazy now.

Anyway, my parents call me daily now and that makes me happy although it's mere minutes of conversation. However, the person whom I always anticipate excitedly to talk to is now errrmmm....Let's just say we're having a rough patch. It's been 3 days.. I'm tired and sad.

I haven't gotten any new dresses for Chinese New Year. SAD. Sigh... Ann told me that she might be going to Shanghai with mum during Chinese New Year. Seriously?? WTF!! Even more sad. Of all times, must it be Chinese New Year when I'm going back home. Bloody stinking piece of shit boss of hers. Why not he himself bring the tour. Why must it be my mum? Money faced asshole. Really pisses me off.

Blackie used to be the one who can comfort me in whatsoever circumstances and I'll always feel a sense of happiness and care regardless where and how we talked; he was my shelter and the one where I get my pampering from apart from my dad but these few days, I felt like I lost him. I feel so alone. I really miss how he made me happy all the time. I miss him.

I am sad. I miss all the care and pampering I got back home. If this is part and parcel of growing up, I DO NOT want to grow up, at least, not now. It's all too soon.

I love you, mummy and daddy.

I love you, Karvin.

Ian, stop checking your stats. They take time.

Ann, study. Don't hog onto the phone too long. hahahahahaha...

Sloshy Sloshy

The title is completely incoherent to the contents of this post. I just like the word slosh. Sounds cute, no? hehe

Hey!! Mummy and Daddy, why you guys don't call me anymore??!!! What is the meaning of that?? HRRRrMMMMMpppHHHhhh!!!!!! You don't love and miss me no more? Awhhhh.... =(

From the day I arrived here, I've only spoken to my parents twice or thrice and that's it. So mean. When I call them, they didn't pick up and they didn't even return my calls. *sulk* Last semester, they call me SEVERAL times a day but reduced towards the end of the semester but this semester, I'm completely forgotten. I'm

Anyway, I had my first Economics class today and bloody fishcakes crabsticks prawnheads! I don't understand. The lecturer was saying it's all about common sense. I shocked myself by realizing I've no common sense when I couldn't think of any answers. haha... I felt rather daunted too because there were a few pretty outspoken people in the class. Now that it's a mixed class, I feel so errrm..... lacking and inadequate but I hope that's just some random ephemeral pessimistic feeling which would vanish soon.

Maddie and I would be going shopping tomorrow in KL and on Saturday, we'd be attending Youth'09! muahaha! I really hope I can find all that I want to find and have fun on Saturday. Shop shop shop...but I won't splurge just for the sake of buying, I'm going to think thoroughly before any purchase. hehe... I don't want to regret after buying like what I always do. It's depressing. -_-"

Lalalalalalala.......... bored......

Totally random. I like al-Salam's Honey Naan.

Wendy introduced this to me last year. deliciousness.

I scared Madonna in the toilet just now when I went "BOO!!" and her expression was.... priceless!!! haha... I smell vengeance. I need to be more careful now.

Update : Not going KL anymore... T_T

All Set and Done

Yippedee doo daa.... I've pretty much settled down now. I've beautifully enrolled into Semester 2 as in my timetable's a darling despite the fact that I'd have to drag my slothful soul up from bed at 7am or so on Tuesdays,Wednesdays, and Thursdays. That's the drawback but then again, I finish classes at 12pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. That's great! I've only one class on Friday which is from 11am to 12pm and Monday's class starts at 12pm hence, I'd have nice weekends and feel less of them Monday blues since I can sleep in for a little bit more.

I'm taking Calculus 2, Microeconomics, Biology 2, and Public Speaking this semester. Errrmm.... I hope I can walk abreast with all of them but I'm extremely apprehensive about.......Calculus 2!!! No surprise right since I've been endlessly whining about it.

Public speaking class so far is my favorite because it seems rather interesting and relaxing now but we just had our first assignment just now. Every week we would have to present a speech and this Monday's our first! Coolie... Anyway, I really am hyped about this Monday's speech because it's about Madonna! Nyahahahahaha!!! We paired up and we are assigned to talk about each other and 3 unique characteristics of each other. This is fun! Right, Maddie?? muahaha!! Got to think deep and hard for the 3 weirdest things she does. =D We love ridiculing each other and we won't miss any possibility and even the slightest chance to step on each other's tail, verbally but she's starting to get physically aggressive as well;she slaps me! wtf! haha... As of now, she's the biggest bullshitter and swiftest communicator I know of apart from my brother. Awwwwhhhh....aren't you proud,Maddie? haha

I shall digress now.

I want to go KL to hunt for some dresses for Chinese New Year but Maddie is reluctant to accompany me!!!! =( I want to exude my hidden flamboyance. haha.. Hey JUST KIDDING ok. Aiyo... shy shy.... hehe... I like my dresses last year and I really thank the person who brought me all around to look for them. =) Anyway, this year....I don't have anything much in mind except I want maybe a red dress. hehe... hrrmm.... not sure... Well, first things first, am I even going down to KL? hrrmmphh.... @_@

On a sidenote, hair oh hair, please grow faster. I went to get my hair done last Saturday at Alan Salon and as usual, I will let my hairdresser do his thing because I'm always satisfied with the end product but this time, not so much. First, he gave me a bit of red highlights to volumize the hair which I initially didn't know of(p/s: I've very little hair) and secondly, he cut me those straight without parting fringe or better know as bangs. Hrrmmphh... I like a little side parting kind of fringe. So, I'm just hoping real hard that those fringe will grow long enough for me to part and not look weird before Chinese New Year. *fingers and toes crossed!* sigh...

That's how my hair looks like after hours of sitting in the salon.

Now, my fringe is clipped up wherever I go. Utter sadness.

Weee...First Day of School

It's 4.15 am but my brain won't doze off maybe because I woke up at around 1am after my 8pm nap. haha....Am exhausted today. Add/drop is in process and at first, before I set foot here again, I was contemplating to drop Calculus 2 for a few reasons but Maddie and my dad told me to just stick to it since I'd need to take it some day. However, Fatin told me that Miss Dorothy said that Calculus 2 isn't of major importance and having Calculus 1 is adequate but I'm not too sure if I should take the risk and no thank you to the hassle that I'll put myself through in the event that I need Calculus 2. Sigh....

Had my first Calculus 2 class on Monday and Mr. Chan freaks the shit out of me. He was giving us the statistics for last sem results and only half the class passes, the other half failed. wtf! And he gave me the impression that he's the type of lecturer that will just do his part on teaching and whether you grasp it or not, that's entirely your own problem and that he couldn't care less. He's nice and all, don't get me wrong but my confidence level totally hit rock bottom. I really really really hope I could change my section and get into Mr. Nathan's class. By doing so, at the very least, I might have some confidence not to flunk Cal 2. *fingers crossed*

I feel that this semester is tougher. Biology 2 seems to be more difficult, public speaking class wasn't as simple as I'd imagined, Cal 2 had always been a nightmare but with Mr. Chan as my lecturer, delirium. I've yet to see for myself how microeconomics and moral studies would be later.

And they say, the hardest time of studies is Form 5 and college/university is easier. Liars!! (>.<) Isabel Goh Kah Ling!! Miss you too babe!! Glad I went to see you before I leave.
Update 12.20pm : I managed to change my section for Calculus 2 but I had to drop Moral studies because they clashes!! Freaking good luck!! Thank God!!

Home Bitter Home

I'm back to college. Had a really long day today and I'm now so tired, I could just sleep forever but I was made to wait for a "piggazoided" mad girl who apparently, is taking her midnight shower so, here I am, typing.

Yesterday night was nice. Blackie was super sweet and he brought me to wherever I wanted to go. I wanted to see Isabel too since I did not exactly spent much time with her so, we went to her house. It was nice to be able to spend time with my BFs! Best friend and boyfriend. =) I did my last minute packing till pretty late like 6am?? haha...Woke up at 9.30am. PffffTTt!! Obviously, inadequate sleep.

So, lack of sleep + leaving home = emotionally cuckoo

I was annoyed at every little thing before I reached school. I was annoyed at how inefficient Air Asia workers were because it took ages to check-in. I was annoyed that the row next to where I sat in the plane, was a baby who can't stop crying and screaming but thank goodness she stopped. But, I was the first to get off the plane from the back exit and lucky enough, my luggage was the first to come out. Coolie...

After I reached my hostel block, I had to climb up several flights of stairs with a bag on my shoulder, laptop on my right hand, and left hand carrying the big heavy luggage. wtf! I stopped at Maddie's floor and when I was strolling my luggage to her room, she opened her door and there she was, the piggazoid whom I haven't seen for 2 months. haha.... She helped me with 2 heavy boxes of which I kept it in the store room then, I started cleaning and unpacking all my stuff. Tedious workload I tell you. haha.... I was hoping either mum or dad would come help me, but noooooo!! haha....

Anyway, I'm glad to say, I did every thing by myself for errmm the first time!!! No help from nobody! nyahaha!!! My roommate mopped the floor though.I swept before that but sweeping is easier than mopping, i know. hehe...
Am really happy to see all my dear friends again. xoxo....

Anyway, freaking tired now but I got to head out to get some stationaries for school. The pain of last minute preparations. sigh....

Hopefully, this semester would be a great one. Cheers!

My side of the room. Spick and span! =p

The Arrival

It's already 2009. Time passes too fast and I'm scared of lots of stuff which I'm lazy to elaborate now. You'll stumble upon my ramblings in time to come.

As usual, we had a little New Year's Eve feast at grandma's.

I love my little cousin. He was adorably spotted sitting at the corner so bro and sis went to accompany him. *loves*
He was see-sawing

To welcome the new year,I met up with friends in Spring and Aixora's boyfriend,Kelvin drove us to Soho and we had our countdown there. It's only my 2nd time clubbing and I'm certainly not a fan. Once a year is enough for me. I feel uncomfortable squeezing amongst sweaty and drunken strangers. I don't know how to drink; let alone club. I should have joined my brother at Ipanema. He had a table. I'd very much prefer to sit and talk the night away.

I squeeze you squeeze moment... errkk...

We met Terrence

Blackie was at his friend's function of which I refused to join but I was expecting him to come to where I was before 12am but he didn't make it in time. He came slightly past 12. Anyway, am still glad to see him.

Aixora, Isabel, me at the coffee shop opposite Soho
We met Yi Ping there

Aixora and Kelvin wanted to go to The Core or something like that so we went but I just stood outside, far away from the crowd with Isabel and Blackie, and we just talked until my brother came to pick me up.Before that, we went to check out Crown Square.

Aixora,Amanda, and Kelvin
Saw Kenny at Crown Square

Clubbing is merely just an experience but my stand from last year till now is still, I do not like it. I think it's only fun to those who likes to dance and drink drink drink which I will gladly step away from. I think there's not much of a point to binge into those stuff and end up being like a routine craving for nights of debaucheries. Gross. But occasionally, I don't mind. Just my point of view for myself. =)

It was my first time drinking beer and it tasted horrible. yucky yucky.. My brother's so sweet. He was worried about me. He text me asking me to call him or anyone he knows should anything happen. And slightly past 12am, he called and came to check on me. Me love you, Iannie fattie!

Anyway,I wish all you guys the best this new year and may God shine his blessings upon all of us!
