Previous Trip Home

I just woke up from my long awaited nap. The entire week, I haven't had adequate shut eye due to my immensely packed schedule comprising of tests, quizzes, presentations, and assignments. Just had both my Computer test and tutorial this morning and it was difficult, more so than the previous. After that, I rushed back to my room to finish off my public speaking 2nd presentation outline then, rushed to the academic block to have it printed because it was due at 4pm and I finished it at what 3.25? Something like that. It's not because I procrastinated, there's just no freaking spare time and doing a whole outline and doing it carefully takes time. After that, it was finally my nap time. aaaahhhhh......gratifying.

Having said that, the coming week would shine upon another parallel scenario.
Tuesday- Biology quiz
Wednesday- last public speaking presentation!! yay!!
Thursday- Economics presentation
Friday- Computer tutorial, it's on flowchart of which fills me with animosity -_-"

Anyway, I've been talking a tad bit much on studies. Let's reverse footsteps to last weekend when I was back in my sweet home. It was pure bliss. Although, I didn't get to eat all the food that I anticipated. How much could I eat in a meager 3 days where half of each day was used for sleeping. haha..

When I reached Kuching International Airport, Karvin came to pick me up and as if I wasn't already happy just to be home and seeing him, he was so sweet to get me a little surprise gift which he left on the passenger car seat. Do you remember the little rose he gotten me on Valentine's day from Memory lane? I love that little rose heaps and now, he gotten me a bigger one. tee hee... happy!! I find them really adorable. My sis loves them too and she was complaining how come she didn't have 1. tee hee....

Uniting big rosey and little rosey. Look, even my bedsheet has rose. If you're wondering, I love heart-shaped stuffs. Only the memory lane's flowers captivated me.

Ian, my beloved brother, as I've promised, let me show you the goodies I ate back home. I didn't get to eat all that I anticipated and craved though.

This doesn't look very appetizing but I'm telling you, that's the best salad chicken rice I've tasted in Kuching. Really delicious. oo la la...

Mr. Ho's Spaghetti in Alfredo Sauce. The creamy texture and taste is superb. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Mr. Ho's Signature Prawn Spaghetti which Karvin ordered. The pork cutlets are supremely succulent and you just can't get enough of it. The spaghetti was delicious as well. I hate prawns though.

Cream of the crop. LAMB!!! Ultimate favorite. This is the lamb shank from Magenta. This is the best. Omg.... I want it now!! And the butter mash potato....wooooshhh.... damn nice...

The honey lamb cutlets which I ordered for Karvin. He loves lamb too. hehe.... I love this one too... The glorious subtle sweet ending and the tenderness of the lamb - perfect

Muahaha!! My sweetheart!! Bing's hot chocolate. It does taste as good as it looks. Simply ambrosial!!! It's not the typical cheap chocolate that you get from most places.

That's it on food. Anyway, Karvin and I have been hand in hand for slightly more than a year now. hehe...

Our First Anniversary dinner at Magenta

Guess what he gotten me. hehe

A watch. Precisely what I need and it looks young
& casual. Good for classes. yay yay yay!!

The end. The next day, flew back to stress-stricken zone. -_-"

Slightly Lifted

Just done my Biology test 2 an hour ago. It's difficult!! Questions are trickily mind boggling especially the objectives. 1 objective question is worth 2 marks. Killer I tell you. I officially despise MCQs now. =( Highly doubt I can reach my target anymore. =( I desperately need all the marks I can get to compensate for losses here and there. I know my experiment reports would not score very high this semester. Quiz and assignments, I'm skeptical too....... I need marks from test!! T__T oh well... but am really glad it's over. But more tests to come.

As for now, I need to prepare my public speaking speech for tomorrow. It's the last micro-presentation! =D But 2 major presentations worth 35% overall are following up. Scary. Screw up means screw final results which means screw GPA which means screw CGPA which means CRAP,I'M DOOMED which means I'm officially an idiot which means I won't get accepted by good universities which means OMG,nooooo which means I cannot screw up. haha...annoying leh?? hahah... It's all in good fun.

It's really difficult to score with Miss Freeman because her standard is really high and since it's almost the end of the semester, she expects us to be near perfection. I don't blame her because this is uni level and of course it has to be good but I hate the subject because I cannot score high. If I can get A- for public speaking,I'll be overly happy and laugh till my underwear drop laaaaa. It's really difficult to score unless you're those with supremely swift deep loud tone and had lots of public speaking experience. I'm totally a newbie in this public speaking thingymajiger. Was sleeping throughout primary and secondary school so never knew. haha...

I'm just bored and felt the urge to tell everybody that I'm going home in....... less than TWO DAYS!! I haven't been home for a month. *standing ovation, quick!* hhaha....joking only... I know I shouldn't be going home so often as so I could adapt when I not in Malaysia but no harm to grasp the chance when they approach. =D

IAN, MY DEAR BROTHER, BE JEALOUS. VERY JEALOUS. I PROMISE I'LL SHOW YOU PICTURES OF DELICIOUS FOOD. I'M THE BEST SIS,RIGHT? =p

ANN, IT'S SHOPPING AND BAKING TIME,HONEY!!!

MUM & DAD...... HEADACHE TIME!! BE PREPARED K. MUACKSIE!! TEE HEE....

Bloop Bloop....This Moment

I've had one week of sheer relaxation but torture's coming once again. They just never end. haha...

Incoming - Bio test, CSC tutorial, Econs test, Bio quiz, CSC assignment due and the next assignment takes place, Bio assignment coming, Econs assignment: all taking place in more or less 2 weeks time

See what I mean. This semester really is no joke. Hectic.

From the start of the semester until now, the only time I actually had total fun and rest was the weekend before my birthday. My mind was completely off studies and other school's shenanigans. Now, I really missed those times. In Genting, explicit bliss. The soothing cool zephyr that sweeps around and all the thrill rides that got me screaming and laughing my lungs out was just perfect. Not forgetting the company of delicious ice-cream of which I'm so deprived of. Ooooo...My dear Baskin Robbins, I miss you so. Shopping in Midvalley was nothing less of perfection either. Shopping is an amazing recipe to cure sadness and more company from Baskin Robbins. sighh.

I miss home. I miss my sis. How I wish I could also go home when I see most of my friends going home yesterday since Monday is a holiday. haha.... Oh well... It's ok. I'm going back in 12 days time for an ocassion very dear and important to me. You'll find out soon. =)

Anyway, enough of the flashback. My blog is turning matte and mundane. My new blog is under way but till then, it's time for happy pictures. =D

On the Ferris Wheel

The Carousel. My absolute favorite kiddie's ride. After Stairways to Heaven popularized it, I love it a whole lot more.

The one thing that never fail to plead me guilty - Chocolate
At the doorway of Beryl's Chocolate store
The decoration definitely screams lovely.
Chocolate Encyclopedia - I'd sure want one
I wasn't ready! I just like the chocolate that I'm sitting on. Cute ain't it?
nyahaha.... I like tall and strong guys. haha
Went for the errmm...4D show... it's really silly...
Simple relaxing joy ride
Enjoying the view from above with my Baskin. yum! I'm so deprived of good ice-cream in Inti

After hours of shopping nonstop, went to Kenko to feed some fishes my dead skin. hehe... I love fish spa. Instantly thought of my parents because the first time I did this, they brought me. Miss home......

captionless
while waiting for the clock to strike 12am but was so tired after a whole day of shopping so went to sleep before that but was dragged out of bed at 12am for
...this. Because it was so sudden, I didn't have time to sort through my wishes so my birthday wish this year wasn't as long as last year's. hehe
horrid hair.

Recently, I'm battling my facial skin. Skin's really bad and it had been this way for months. sigh....so.....brace urself for the picture below... behold the ugliness of....
tee hee.... marks the end of my trip...

Thank you Fatin, Hidayah, Madonna, Anna, and Blackie for the presents. XOXO

Came & Went........

I'm back from my little relaxing vacation. It was really nice and just what I needed after intense pressure. hehe... But time passes really fast. Headed back to school with a very heavy heart. haha...

Oh ya, I've officially reached the last of my teen years. I turned 19 yesterday. =D hehe... I love birthdays albeit I get older but it's exciting. This year's birthday was really errrmm..... a drift away from the usual. No big cake, no family around, not many friends around either. This is the first time I celebrate my birthday with only 1 symbolical candle. I like having many candles to blow but it's alright. I'm still happy. =D

I really missed my sister for reasons I've yet to percolate. Why do I miss you, Annie?? hehe... When I was in Genting, I thought about how big a coward she is because she never dared to go on thrill rides with me even after she promised she would. Hmmphh... That is why, I never sat on very extreme thrill rides because sitting alone is boring and pathetic. No one to laugh and scream with. Pfftt... but this time, I sat for nearly all the thrill rides. Didn't go for the flying coaster though. Perhaps next time. I finally sat on corkscrew. Happy. Had always wanted to try that and it really made me flinched but it was fun. I love theme parks. =D

Went shopping in Midvalley too and yet again, I missed Ann. Midvalley Megamall used to be our comfort shopping zone in KL because mum would usually booked us a room in either Boulevard of Cititel since they are both connected to Midvalley Megamall and both Ann and I would be roaming the whole shopping mall and no matter how our legs were killing us with sores and aches, we would not stop walking until we got to the pinnacle of satisfaction or simply fall broke. heheh...

I called Ann a few times to tell her I'm shopping and all that because she's having exams now. Adding some salty condiments to her wound. hehe... She told me she got me a birthday pressie from MNG. muahaha... love love!!

Deep breaths. It's back to work. -_-" I had to prepare for my public speaking presentation tomorrow. I'm not decided on my topic yet. Was comtemplating to talk about Terracotta warriors. Not sure though.

Sorry for the lack of pictures.Lazy to elaborate and add pics.

Update : p/s : Iannie, I miss you too... hahaha....

My First Valentine's Day =D

Happy Belated Valentine's Day My Dearest Darling Readers!! Did you all had a nice V'day??

A very cheery me. ^^ The pillow was suppose to make me look smaller.haha

I'm very contented with mine. Euphoria is clouding me now...in a nice context of course. I'm so so so so supremely happy until I do not know how to put my happiness into perfect words. The whole afternoon yesterday, Ann and I were scouring high and low in "The Spring" to look for Valentine's Day gifts for our Valentine. haha... I didn't mean to be so last minute but I stay in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan (you have no idea how backdated that place is. No kidding!) and I was stuck with a whole lot of work so, I didn't have time to go all the way to KL to shop. If I could, I certainly would. I'm so sorry dearest.

Presenting.... My Dearest Valentine... =D

It was so difficult to choose nice presentable gifts. We went into targeted shops several times each just to finally make our purchases. Went to a "Jantzen" to get a hair wash. Service was fairly good. Friendly hairdressers as usual but sometimes it irritates me that they ask so many questions. It was already 7pm after I was done with Spring. Poor Ian, he had to rush us back home and send his friend home and then come back home to drive Ann out. hehe...

Around 8.15pm, Blackie picked me up. We headed to "The Living Room" for our dinner. We both had lamb. Yumm!! Lamb's the best!! Dinner and all was basically normal except that you see couples everywhere.
After that, I went over to Joanne's house to pick up the cookies I ordered from her. Those cookies were made by her mum and Joanne's mum make the best cookies and cakes. Really delicious.

Typical ambience but I like it.

Outside The Living Room. The boss asked us to hold the balloons. Aren't ours. haha

All the while, he kept talking in a way that he did not get me any Valentine's gifts and all he had planned was a dinner. But, knowing him, I knew he gotten me something because I stress so much that this was my first Valentine's Day and he better make it the best there is. hehehe... Whenever I tell him that, he'd be laughing away and telling me he's pressured and worried. So adorable. =D
I always thought that he'd never get me flowers because I did mention that I don't fancy flowers that much and he did say that it's squandering money to get flowers since they die. But, deep down, I really wanted flowers since it's my first V'day. hehe.... We saw lots of booth selling flowers and gifts by the road side and he asked if I wanted him to get me flowers from them. -_-"!! Of course I said no. No point right? haha...

We were kind of like just having a jolly car ride all around until he told me he needed to buy something. He drove all the way to Hilton Hotel to get me.......... Haagen Dazs ice cream!! hahaha... I find that really diabetically sweet!! I'm a big time ice-cream junkie and of course I told him I like Haagen Dazs before but I never expected him to suddenly get me that. So sweet!! Love love love...

After some more car ride around town, he told me he want to buy me something from the airport. I was very confused and shocked. It was around 11pm already so, all that is left open are McD and Starbucks but I was bloated after dinner. I told him there's no need to get me presents *ahem* and definitely no more food. When we got to the airport's little flyover, he told me to get down, then, he opened the trunk of his car.

OoooooOOOO..... A bouquet of roses and a pretty box next to it. So happpppppyyyyy but shy at the same time!!!! haha... Love it to bits!! He's so sweet and I'm so in love. hehe... Well, what can I say? I'm a very typical girl who loves festivities. hehe...
He then brought me to his house. Chat with his parents and aunts. His aunt is so sweet. Kept offering me cookies but I'm rather fussy when it comes to food. I tried rejecting, but she continued insisting so, took them and when she wasn't looking, stuffed them into Blackie's mouth. hehe...

He opened his gift at home when I was there. It's nothing much but I hope he likes them nonetheless. I opened mine at home and I am deeply in love with everything he had gotten me. Every single item is something I truly adore. He got me a Roxy bag, a Roxy t-shirt, a little heart shape plushie-kinda-thing , a cute little rose from "Memory Lane" of which I always tell him I like whenever we walk pass the shop, a bar of chocolate, a packet of "Famous Amos" cookies, and of couse the bouquet of roses. I could not ask for better gifts. I'm extremely happy.

What's a traditional V'day without roses?? I love the volume of the bouquet. So nice to hold. hehe...
Roxy!! My ultimate guilty pleasures.Chocolate and cookies are my staple food. Everything is simply magnificent. Love love love!!

Press the middle and it squeaks "I love you" three times. Tee hee.. I love heart shape stuffs.

I then started feeling remorseful for all the times that I took him for granted and treated him so horribly. =( He's always so nice to me and sometimes, I never seem to appreciate it or even neglected his thoughtfulness. I am kind of culpable for most of our little misunderstandings. Sighh... I need the Dummy Guide to Being A Better Girlfriend.

I'm really grateful I have Blackie to call mine. hehehee....
I'm going to bring all those stuff back to school so at least I have slivers of Blackie to embrace when I'm feeling stressed and down which I'd definitely be encountering the coming 2 weeks.

My first Valentine's Day is splendid and it's something worth treasuring. The facet of the happiness is definitely because I get to spend it with someone so sweet & whom I care for. =)

Lynn Loves Flying Home

I'm back in Kuching! yay!
Comfy Womfy Fomfy Pomfy...

Now that I'm back home once again, the 3 weeks that had passed felt nothing more of a glimpse. Intrigued. The next thing I know, I'll be flying back there and then later back home again........ over and over again.... time just lubricate it all... sweeping by so gently...resulting in oblivious awe until you really think about it...

So my trip back this time is slightly different. I'm usually a lone soul looking like an emotionless-mechanical-lithium-operated-cog queuing up impatiently at the check-in counter with an antisocial constipated grimace doodled all over my pale face because I couldn't bring myself to tolerate the rate at which those counter ladies were working on and also the disorganized queuing lines. Ok ok... budget airlines...I get it... my apologies... =) Since they are providing us with their lowest possible fares, quality of services had to be compromised.

However this time, I had friends boarding same flight with me. Although I don't know them well but , it was better than being totally alone and sitting with strangers. They were really nice and friendly : accomodating. The ever so shy and antisocial me can feel at ease and comfort, you get my drift of how nice they are right? haha... Glad to know them.

When the plane landed, my parents were already there waiting. yay!! I was so worried that my dad would be late again like the previous 2 times. GrrrRRrr!!! lalalalala....
joy..

Went to have a quick peek in Charles&Keith just now. New heels for Chinese New Year. I've made my secret agreement with mummy already. She's going to give me money to shop. hehe.. I'm seriously at the brink of breaking down. The gigantic desperation bell is jinggling aloud but never numbing my eardrums. I want nice clothes for Chinese New Year!! Really really want. Please oh please, let me serendipitously stumble upon a couple of pieces here. You may think I'm making an unnecessary fuss over CNY but I absolutely adore festivities. They are all of impeccable importance to me!! Christmas,Chinese New Year, My birthday(chiefly), Valentine's Day so on so forth. haha.... Actually, those are the only ones I can think of. The "so on so forth" is just to corroborate and fortify my earlier stand. haha....

My sister is so thin now.She seem to be constantly losing weight. How? With superb ease. No fair! I'm coveting. I gained a bit over the brief period of time back in school. Sigh... You see how tormenting it is there. haha.... I meant the food part. There's nothing particularly nice to feed on, yet, I can gain pounds. Maybe it's because of the portion and gluttony me is always inclined to gobble it to the point the plate sparkled? But I'm sure the palpable culprit is still the irresistable supper. Utterly detrimental. But I still can't resist my "Honey Naan". eeyerr....

Freaking tired now. Wasn't even close to getting adequate shut eye last night. My lids weigh a gazillion tonnes now. -_- Tata...

Happy Holidays Darlings!

Pre-Christmas Present

My camera had arrived and I love it. It's handy dandy, compact, dons a pretty metallic blue coating and it comes with its matching casing too, but best of all, it's free. lalalala... I adore pretty freebies. Don't pretend you don't! haha..I don't find it worth it to spend a thousand or so on one gadget. I'd rather stuff my wardrobe. I'm so happy. I've got a nice free phone and now a camera thanks to my mum's adeptness in competitions. I count myself really lucky. =)

This is my first personal camera. Elated. Awaiting my vain alter ego to sprinkle out. hehe

Thanks mum for the pre-Christmas present!! ^^ Daddy oh daddy...*.* What are you going to get me?? *grins*

These few days had been pretty swift. Bought stuff I like, went out with people I like, ate stuff I like, do whatever I like, and got what I really wanted. Please please let happiness continue flooding in. =)

Tired. Signing off... XOXO

Happy Birthday Dearest Mummy

Yesterday, 11th December was my mum's birthday. It was really nice because every member of our little family got together to scintillate her joyous day.

Ann and I had this little plan to surprise mum with her Secret Recipe Cheesecake which she had craved for so long at 12 midnight sharp on 11th. We called up my uncle to help get us the cake and send it over to us when mum and dad went out. Dad was our untrustworthy accomplice.

We got the cake at roughly 10pm so Ann and I kept an eagle eye on the refrigerator in case mum opens it to get whatever. It was tough for a moment or two. I stood in front of the refrigerator while talking to her when she just got back and was silently hoping she won't want anything in it. Then, we constantly checked on her whereabouts. haha...

At 11.45pm, dad went outside for a puff and brought mum along as well and he gave us the signal to candle the cake while he stall her until midnight. Time moved like a two-legged tortoise. Dad failed and mum came back into the house at 11.55-ish pm but she was still surprised to see the cake. so near yet so far. ppfftt....
Ian was already asleep before midnight, thus, no pictures of him with mum.

At night, we went to Magenta for mum's Birthday dinner. It was nice having the whole family dine together at that comforting and serene oriental place. Pretty nice food and not to mention, in very generous portions too. Even my gluttonous brother couldn't finish his portion.

The birthday lady with her lamb shank
With her beloved prince
Her princesses
The one in yellow is her old cow!! hahaha... I must make sure my dad reads that!! hahahhahaha.... I'm such an angel... =D
My ever so lovely and loving sister.
Iannie and I. To respond to the comment he left in my previous post. Ian, I love you too!! haha
Got to be fair now. Ann and I
My lovely lunatics
Been a while since we three last took a picture together
