Day Trip to Damai

La dee da dee da.... Just got back from Damai a while ago... It's 11.26pm now... Joanne and Michelle called me yesterday asking if I wanna go play play in Damai a while cause Aixora and her family are there overnight so alrightie...saya bersetuju untuk pergi have fun...

Woke up this morning pack pack a lil...towel,tshirt,...the necessities... Then went to Joanne's house to wait for Michelle to come pick us up. After that,we went to Spring to get some donuts cause we don't wanna go empty handed so yea donuts....
Those are the flavours we bought.. It's pretty obvious that we love "The Alien" thus there's 7 of them...hehe...freaking fattening ey? Guilty pleasures...

Around 3rd mile then Isabel mentioned pearl milk tea which trigger the food craving part of our brain so off we went to "Cool" to get them.

Then,it was straight off to Damai...Isabel was our GPS,navigating us around... haha...The 3 of us (Joanne,Michelle and me) particularly me are suckers when it comes to directions.. My geography of Kuching is still in a vapourised blur...I only know how to go town and school....*ashamed*

On the way there,we met an IMPATIENT RUDE driver n passenger.... Cause we were going slow and steady..safety first...well,wasn't that slow actually... so this driver cut us and his passenger looked at us and gave us the "what the hell" hand gesture...you know the hand go up and scold kind... gRRrrR!

After parking the car near the reception then the Damai van brought us up the hill cause Aixora's staying at hilltop room... I knocked my head when I was getting down the van... how embarrassing...hahah....

Aixora,Athila,Ellyas and her mum was in the midst of playing charades so we joined in... Bundle of fun,joy and laughter...Aunty Kim was so excited bout it..

After charades,we pamper our tummy with "light" snacks...as in McDonald's burgers, fries,pastries and donuts...hahha...Pretty light indeed... Then it was swimming time... Joanne suggested that we go to the beach...so zee pe dee doo daa...we went downhill... Goodness gracious... The torturous scorching sun showed no mercy....It's was shining ever so happily so we went back up the hill to swim... It was a battle to climb up the steep stairs... so tiring... proves how bad my stamina is... =_="

We played some carry a friend and run towards the end game, the entangling game and catch in the pool.. While I was half way playing catch,Aunty Kim came to talk to me.. gave me a few pointers about my future and to let go of the incident where JPA shut its door against me.. She told me bout her own experience and end up it was a blessing in disguise..She told me lots of other stories bout people and life.. I thank her for her concern.. it was really sweet... =D I'm trying hard to be optimistic and to trust God on my future as I'm still kinda lost in this labyrinth of life...

After all of us bath....to Buntal we headed for dinner... makan makan makan...cakap cakap cakap... then,go home time.... Michelle dropped us at Joanne's.... then Uncle Seng (Isabel's daddy) sent me back home.. =D Lovely day it was...

Malaysian School Uniform Too Sexy??

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian group condemned the uniform worn by girls at government schools, saying it encouraged rape and pre-marital sex.

“The white blouse is too transparent for girls and it becomes a source of attraction,” National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia vice-president Munirah Bahari said in a statement.

“It becomes a distraction to men, who are drawn to it, whether or not they like looking at it,” she said, calling for a review of uniform policy so that it did not violate Islamic ideals. *roll eyes*

In multicultural Malaysia, home to majority-Muslim Malays as well as ethnic Chinese and Indians, female students at government schools have a choice of wearing a white blouse with a knee-length skirt or pinafore.

They may also wear a “baju kurung” and a headscarf is optional for Malay students.

Munirah said that “covering up” according to Islamic precepts was important to fend off social ills, including “rape, sexual harassment and even premarital sex.”

“This leads to babies born out of wedlock and, to an extent, even prostitution,” she said.

“Decent clothes which are not revealing can prevent and protect women from any untoward situations,” she said, suggesting that girls wear a blouse of a different colour or with an undergarment.

However, the girls themselves also came in for criticism, with the association saying that some used the white blouse to lure men.

“This is the source of the problem, where we can see that schoolgirls themselves are capable of using this to attract men to them,” Munirah said.

“This could see them getting molested, having premarital sex and all sorts of things.” – AFP

Gosh...blood boiling statement..Find something more relevant to bring up to the public la please... Our school uniform had been the way it is like forever and now,after 50+ years, they think it's inappropriate... Gahh..'Ciak pa bo su cho'

First of all..how are girl's school uniform revealing or has any sex appeal?? Pinafore pretty much covers all that is needed to be covered except the side which is slightly not covered but what can u see from the side? Besides,we're not allowed to wear fancy dark coloured lingerie. We would be wearing singlet underneath baju kurung. Form 6 blouse,we are to wear a singlet inside too and pastel coloured lingerie..Skirts and pinafore are usually knee length or longer. *scratch head* Where's the sexiness?

Why so conservative?? We have literally one of the ugliest/less appealing uniform in the world. Look at those japanese or taiwanese uniforms and compare them with ours. Ours looks like an apron. haha...

Rapist would probably prey on their victims without considering what they are wearing or how they look because they're just too "hungry",they can't control themselves. But if a girl were to dress in minimal clothing roaming dark streets alone then I totally agree that she should take the criticism cause that's sheer trouble she's looking for.

Wonder if they'd change school uniforms.. maybe white blouse change to black blouse..haha..funny..

Ta-da... no more grief and mourning... haha... But that downfall made me realise and appreciate what I have so much more...

I now know my dad loves me gazillion muchy... He was there for me every single second when I needed comfort..telling me everything is going to be alright.. hugging me while patting me to stop crying.. kept telling me not to give up..once in a while he'll come and check on me...just now he told me not to worry bout anything and just do my part in studying and he'll take care of everything else..oh gosh...recalling all that he'd done for me during this grieving one week period gets me all so emotional..haha... I really have the most wonderful daddy in the world!!

Mummy's turn... mum was leading a tour group to China when I told her the rejection news... she replied me so sweetly saying "wait for mum to come back and we'll figure something out while at the meantime go form 6 and enjoy the new environment with boys"...LOL...I had been studying in an all-girls-school since primary 1 by the way.. haha... After her return,she gives me hugs and show me her love and all....My mummy's the best too!! I'm so blessed to have such wonderful loving caring parents.. hehe..

Not forgetting those friends who tried hard to cheer me up though at first stubborn me just refuse to be optimistic..so sorry...*edited* ..As heard,friends are suppose to be there for each other blaa blee bluu... yea..now I know who my friends are.... cheers!

Why?

I failed to get JPA scholarship. I'm gonna breakdown n go insane. Why oh why... I was elated the day I got my SPM results but that results didn't get me anywhere...It only got me to the school opposite my ex-school for Form 6. And found out many that didn't get straight A1's happily secure scholarships. I'm not referring to anybody in particular ok..It's just what I see and heard. I'm very envious of them and thinking what good had my results done for me other than temporary happiness?? This is literally the WORST day of my life. I've never felt such excruciating pain ever! I'm so disappointed in myself... Oh well..just my luck... be grateful you're not me.

Depressed..

Monday,May 12th, my daddy's birthday.... YAY!!!!!

Monday,May 12th,Form 6 starts...BOO!!!

SIGHH... I'll be going to Form 6 and yup,I'm depressed and stressed out by that... I don't want to do Form 6... Never ever have I wanted or considered Form 6 but bummer....somehow I find myself left without a choice. There's one last hope to pull me out from this dreaded misery but that's far from certainty at the mo.. So,I still gotta get my ass into Form 6 first.

Haven't got my uniform and whatsoever school thingymajiger... And mummy's in Beijing so I gotta go get them myself with dad. DAD!!! anti-shopping person.. So not fun... Mummy,I miss you..

Anyhoo, frustration had definitely got the better of me already...I whine non stop to my dad like everyday..hehe..sorry..I just can't help it.. I can't stop thinking bout my future,where would I be going to study,what if this..what if that... so on so forth... I know I shouldn't but I'm slowly drowning myself into self pity..This is seriously bad..it may lead to massive self destruction.. drugs.. suicide...omg!! nahh...just being dramatic..haha..

I'm such a loser.. Can't believe my willpower is this "strong".. Gosh.. how am I to face the world right?? Mum,Dad,Ian...I need you!!!! God,please help me..

Aixora's Night

I just got back from Aixora's birthday dinner. Her birthday is actually on 1st May but celebrated on 30th April and she plans to countdown at some club.

Joanne,Michelle,Isabel,Amanda and I went over her house for her birthday dinner. The shephard's pie she made was delicious...as always.. ohh yea..Amanda helped..gotta stress on that cause she'd been reminding all of us that her skills were put to good use.. anyway,we ate ate ate talk talk talk laugh laugh laugh...ahh... close friends gatherings are always heaps of fun..

Oh ya oh ya...I am proud to say I was the first to reach Aixora's house. I'm extremely well known for my unpunctuality... hehe... but this time...woah!! *proud proud*. =D But I wasn't that early la.. Aixora said we are to come at 7pm sharp.. I reached at 7.20pm but still...heheh....

After that, Amanda,Aixora and Michelle each flaunt their artistic skills in making up.. From this mirror,move to that mirror and to and fro... LOL... so intriguing..perhaps someday I might put effort to master that skill too but lazy now..it seems tedious but it's interesting and their beauty doubled up.. hehe..

After dinner,they went clubbing while I went home.. I abide by the law...I'm not legal till I'm 21.. haha...I'm sure you guys who are reading this are rolling your eyes on me...hahahhaa... that's only part of the reason..The other part is mummy and daddy are not very keen on letting me go such places..Besides,I don't dance and drink so what is there for me to do there? Pretty much nothing I could do other than look around searching for eye candy..haha...

It's only 12.40am (1st May), I'm sure they're still having fun at the club. Happy Birthday Xora!
