Are You For or Against Plastic Surgery??

Am drop dead bored but I still insist on prolonging school holidays. To feed myself with entertainment, I did some Google search.

Just recently, Isabel's mum told me
about Dawn Yang's plastic job. I'm no avid reader of D.Y. but I think I stumbled upon her blog once and I was telling my sister how pretty she is. I thought it was natural beauty only to find out recently that it was all fake. Since I was bored, so, I searched her before and after. Wooohh... really drastic differences. Makes me want to get myself plasticized. hahaha... I want to be very pretty on the outside too!!! *sulks* haha...

That's Dawn Yang's before and after. Pretty swift.

I'm so amazed how the slicing, hammering, and sewing can transform a person beyond recognition. I want rhinoplasty, more prominent eyelids, pout lips, saw off my alienated jutting ribs, liposuction, and another one which I'm shy to say. hahahhahaha.... If only I have the guts and lots of them moo-lahs to get myself a brilliant renown plastic surgeon to do the magic. haha....

FYI, I tend to decamp into a fantasy world of my own hence, thinking about weird stuff like this. In reality, as much as I want to get some touch ups on my features,I wouldn't dare to torture myself with the immense pain of being under the knife. I do complain a lot but I'm actually grateful for what I'm blessed with. =)

I'm curious to know what guys think about plasticized girls? For or against?

I know Blackie is against any form of plastic surgery and he calls me stupid whenever I bring up this matter. -_-" On the contrary, my brother supports. He say as long the end product looks hot then, all is fine.

By the way, is plastic surgery a huge sin?? Every time, I think about plastic surgery, I'm actually afraid of God's punishment. Really!

Stingy Seven

Freaking stinking fishcakes!! I have only a meager week left and Semester 2 commences. SIGH!! I haven't even satisfyingly breathe in the sweet scent of holidays and it's back to school. GRrrRr!! But, I know I'd never be satisfied regardless of the length of holidays.

Anyway, this time next week, I'd be back to my 2nd "home" in Negeri Sembilan. haha... Trading in my comfortable h
ouse for a small room. At least it's air-conditioned. Phew... ERrrrGGhh.. the wrath of exams, quizzes, assignments, and presentation will be claiming my unwilling attention once again. -_-"

7 days...7 days...7 days... awwhh... is seriously too short a period...

Last night, I went out with Blackie. It was our last Sunday date for this year and most probably for a while... I can't see my Blackie when I want to anymore.. He brought me to Westwo
od for dinner, then to some car show, and then for movies. He went to the car show to support his friend, the organizer. Honestly, those kind of functions are totally not of my fondness. I'd say it's alright for new experience purposes and instead of performing or rooting for my oh-so-cliche predispositions. I'm not exactly a very outgoing person so, I'm uninterested in a lot of things. Boring life, maybe but Blackie is slowly adding condiments into my life.
=)

There were a few pretty cool cars but what caught my attention were those cute modified vintage cars. So adorable!! I didn't snap pictures of them though but the car that we both fancied was "Fairlady". Oooo...it was gorgeous. I don't usually know how to see beauty in cars but I couldn't bring myself to defy this one.
The uber sleek Fairlady. This picture does it no justice. Got to see it for yourself.

We watched "Yes Man". haha.... I had been pestering him to bring me watch that since I saw the trailer. I expected it to be filled with sidesplitting moments but it was just alright. Funny, yea but not that that that great. Odd though, they still show Twilight after it's rumored last day like a week or so ago. Good news for me! I hope I could catch it again but Blackie says I'm stupid to watch movies second time. hrrrmmphh!! haha.. Oh ya, I effin hate the air freshener that is automatically squirted out at intervals in the cinema. Freaking stinko!! Smells like... I don't know how to explain but it's really bad. No joke. More like an air pollutant than freshener. Cheapskate!! (>.<)

I can't pull my thoughts away from school reopening. All the packing and unpacking that needs to be done. So tedious!!! Neither mum nor dad wants to follow me back there to help me unpack and clean up. I'm super parasitically dependent on them. I haven't found any comfy flats for school. I haven't touched up on those ugly black hair roots. etc etc etc.... It is at moments like this that I envy those West Malaysians who can easily travel to and fro from home to school. haha...

Chop chop..bedtime.... which reminds me... I met my brother in the cinema and he said "Bedtime Stories" is really worth the catch... hopefully, I can watch that before I leave...

My Very Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS DARLINGS!!! The much anticipated day had finally arrived. I hope all of you enjoyed your Christmas. Coincidentally, this is my 100th post. yay!! Happy Birthday Jesus!! XOXO!!

During the wee hours of Christmas eve, Blackie and I were having our daily-past-midnight conversation but I got upset at a certain something. Since it was Christmas eve, I reconciled fast with him. I didn't want an unhappy Christmas and furthermore, this is our first Christmas together. Got to use this one as a scaffolding for (hopefully) future merrier Christmas. =D

The evening of Christmas eve, I followed bro and
sis to Spring to do their last minute shopping and met up with Blackie since he happened to be at his shop. Invited him to grandma's house for our simple Christmas dinner. Glad he could join. hehe.... He clicked well with my family members. My mum seem to be very accepting of him since they both are pretty swell jokers. hehe... Was suppose to attend the annual midnight mass but mum said she felt like going for the evening service so, I didn't attend. Felt bad. I'm sorry Jesus. =(

At grandma's. Baby Tyler looks so cute!
Little icky yet adorable Tyler and the candy cane I gave him.
Belligerent Iva looking angelical in white. We bicker every time we meet. haha...

Instead, I sinfully followed Blackie to Christmas countdown together with his friends. I felt absolutely out of place yet again. haha... I felt like a non existent being there. To add,the event was terribly boring beyond tolerance and I didn't know any of his friends so, I had no one to talk to AGE DOES MATTER!! I really covet those people who are friends with their boyfriend's friends and their friends are their boyfriend's friends too. That'll be supremely delightful. Am wistful. sigh...

Oh ya! Not to mention, his girl friends are gorgeous!! Daunted, I am. hahahaa.... They are like all so pretty. It was then that I realize Kuching do have quite a lot of pretty ladies. I know I'm not a
very good girlfriend. Even a best friend of mine told me that she's sorry for the guys I date. awwhhh.....I agree too. She's right. I felt awful for Blackie. He has lots of pretty girl friends and I'm confident a handful of those girls could treat him way better than me but the poor fellow is stuck with me. I kind of like pour out all that I was thinking that time to him and all his replies were so sweet and loving. He's such a nice boyfriend but I really treat him nastily sometimes with all those harsh words that came out from my mouth. Harsh as in horribly mean but not profanities ok. I am profane-free. haha..

After whirling and twirling endlessly around Kuching, he gave me my Christmas present. Elated to the max because that's the only present I have for Christmas. Parents, grandparents, aunt, and uncle gave us money instead of presents. Don't mind though. Thank goodness I have Blackie's present. What is Christmas without presents. hehehehehe... To the devout,I comprehend perfectly that Christmas is more than just presents but I grew up insinuated with the fact that Christmas comes with presents. Cut me some slack, please? =)
Took that after he passed me the present. He's such a sweetheart.

When I got home, exhilaratingly showed Ann my one and only present and opened it. Happy!! He definitely got me things I adore. He got me one of those fancy jewelry hangers which I told him I like when we were window shopping together. He got me "Chance" by Chanel!! Love love love its sweet-smelling scent and of course the brand.hehe.. I love perfumes! It may sipped out as a very cliche gift but it works for me and I'm sure most girls like them. =)
Thank you,Blackie!

The night of Christmas day which was just now, he picked me up rather late because he was having dinner at his friend's place which I declined to join and my dad was muttering and relating his lateness to the type of guy that he is. sigh.... Daddy ah, he's nice la... he treats me with utter respect and care..

Gave him his present. I hope he likes them. He brought me to Bing to have my favorite hot chocolate. nyaha!! gratifyingly ambrosial. woohh... Then, car ride a bit as usual then, he sent me home. I had a pretty simple Christmas but it's with whom I spent it that made my Christmas a very merry one. I love you, Karvin!!

I love you, mum, dad,Ann,Ian,grandma&pa, and friends!!
I love Christmas! Thank you God for everything.

Thank you darlings who had wished me a Merry Christmas. Love all you guys!
Hugs and Kisses!

A Wedding & an Ex Dancer

Yesterday, I accompanied my dad to attend a relative's wedding dinner. The groom is my 2nd cousin. The wedding's rather ordinary except they exchange vows and rings at the dinner itself instead of the church.

Frankly, I don't even know any of my so called relatives. haha... But I was so inspired by my 2nd cousin. H
e's such a smart ass!! He did his undergraduate under Shell's scholarship, then he did his masters under Singapore's scholarship, and his Phd also under Singapore's scholarship. He's only 28 and working in Schlumberger....you know the really huge oil and gas company that pays very generously. So cool... Young and successful...... I covet that...

Oh! I sa
w 3 of my secondary school teachers at the wedding dinner. Pn. Fu, Pn. Margaret, and Mr. Teo. I saw Mrs. Hon too, my Chemistry tuition teacher. Apparently, the groom's dad was an ex St. Teresa teacher. Interesting.....

After the dinner, I
was inspired to take some pictures using........................pointe shoes!! That pair of pointe shoes are brand new. Even, the ribbon hasn't been sewn on yet. What a waste....

Just for the record, I have NOT been dancing for more than 3 years so these pictures are just for my own pleasure and they are definitely far from ok....the allignment and all are so off but anyway.......here there are.....

The very cliche ballerina pose. Fifth position on pointe.

A very lousy Attitude derriere.. =(

Attitude devant. I've lost my arch on pointe. ='(

This is the highest I can go for penchee and it is saddening when compared to the picture I took when I was in Form 1!!

I'm old and unflexible. I can't dance no more. end of story. haha...

My Concoction of Feelings For 2008

It's 7.30am and I haven't had any shut eye for the night. I'm back to my abnormal nocturnal habits after only a brief sane humane sleeping habits. Sigh.... Was and still am the only complex organism awake in this house (I disregard those nasty insects as complex, excuse me) and certainly, there's nothing much to do so, had been thinking for a bit.

If you had not realized which isn't at all oblivious, there's approximately 11 days left in 2008. I despise the irony of how years swing by,leaving scars which will be nostalgic very soon, make you feel a year older and that you should be a year more mature, make you think if you've made used of your past year, and make you wished you could hit the rewind button.

What had I accomplished this year? That's the question that had my neurons working hard, conscientiously recalling what I actually had done throughout our soon to be obsolete year, 2008.

As grievous and pathetic as it sounds, I personally don't think I'm half as close to making full use of this year but instead, I've mad enormous amounts of indiscriminate decisions where minimal thoughts were let into advantaging use. Lots of mistakes occurred;time and energy dissipated into thin air just like that;everything is irrevocable now and you feel powerless. Pitiful. How was your 2008??

But, every cloud has a silver lining.(consoling myself) It all depends if you want it to be perceptible or not, right? Easy said than done, I'm absolutely aware of it since I'm a total pessimist.

(Time for my precarious optimism to shine.)Anyhow, there's still time to reconcile with all those resentful "apparitions" of yesteryear. Start anew the coming year for it provides a fresh bright ray of light to redeem ourselves.

I'll list out all goods and bads which I faced this year soon. At the meantime, there's still 11 days to get stuffs done and to mark them into your 2008 state-of-the-union. =) Enjoy!

5 days to Christmas and I haven't gotten Blackie's present. -_-" Last minute again. See!! I'm such a disorganized and a priority blinded person. Procrastination is a terminal illness I tell you. sigh...

Battle of The Instant Noodles

I'm going psycho over Korean instant noodles. You seriously have got to try it. It's way more delectable than lousy Maggi noodles. Maggi fans, please don't take umbrage. Avid Maggi fans might dislike Korean noodles on their first attempt. Both are explicitly different in taste especially the Kimchi and Seafood flavor.

In Korean dramas, there are always scene where they'd eat instant noodles straight from the pot and then, they'd expressed how delicious it is and it really is true.

I just find Maggi noodles very low in quality but no doubt they're delicious too. These few years, every time after I consume them, I'd have skin problems which I didn't initially have. Yea, I know that allergies changes every 2 to 3 years, but I just am prejudice over Maggi noodles now and I'm not going to give it the benefit of a doubt. hehe.. My penchant for instant noodles wasn't shaken so, I tried Korean noodles that my mum loves so much and boy, are they delicious and harmless, to me.

They taste a whole lot better and the texture of the noodles is greater. Undoubtedly better in quality. The packaging itself gives people more confidence unlike that of our local noodles. Packaging is pretty important as the substance used could possibly sipped onto the noodles and there are side effects consuming them. Saw that on Tv.

The best Korean noodles that I tasted is none other than the "Korean Claypot Ramyun" Omg... simply gratifying. I can't resist not eating them when I see them in the kitchen drawer but of course they are just as fattening as other instant noodles. I remembered Rachael told me instant noodles take 3 days to completely digest that's why whenever she's going to have them, she's always so happy. (She disciplines what she's going to digest.) Their high carbohydrate and oxidized fat concentrations is enough said but nevertheless, they're divine. *drools*

Anyway, try it and get fatter with me. =)
That's the Claypot flavor.

Horrid Obsession

I am getting more and more inclined to shop. So dead broke. Grandpa gave me some money last night and now, they're all gone. This is effin horrible.... Sometimes, after I spend, I regret buying the stuff I bought. Errrghh!! Hate it when that happens.

By the way, the brains that sucked my money is online shopping. Just stumbled upon a massive load of blogshops online and got really hooked up. Today, 3 garments had arrived. Am really happy about one, satisfied with another one, but despise the other. Gahh... That's the risk of it but the thrill of seeing so many choices and having the postal delivery man honk in front of your gate is pretty exhilarating. Then, comes the excitement to try it on, and it'll give way to happiness or disappointment.
Anyway, try blogshopping. It's nice but just pray they don't run away with your money and trust me, it's addictive. haha...

Maddie is addicted to it. The last time I checked, she'd spent nearly 1k. Wonder if she's still continuously buying. Are you babe?

Anyway, drop by http://ashopaholicsden.com/ to start your shopping. It reviews blogshops to help us ease the process of finding blogshops.

Pre-Christmas Present

My camera had arrived and I love it. It's handy dandy, compact, dons a pretty metallic blue coating and it comes with its matching casing too, but best of all, it's free. lalalala... I adore pretty freebies. Don't pretend you don't! haha..I don't find it worth it to spend a thousand or so on one gadget. I'd rather stuff my wardrobe. I'm so happy. I've got a nice free phone and now a camera thanks to my mum's adeptness in competitions. I count myself really lucky. =)

This is my first personal camera. Elated. Awaiting my vain alter ego to sprinkle out. hehe

Thanks mum for the pre-Christmas present!! ^^ Daddy oh daddy...*.* What are you going to get me?? *grins*

These few days had been pretty swift. Bought stuff I like, went out with people I like, ate stuff I like, do whatever I like, and got what I really wanted. Please please let happiness continue flooding in. =)

Tired. Signing off... XOXO

Satisfying Day Away From Boredom

I love love love it when Mango hit its seasonal sale or whatever sale. I managed to grab 2 tops for school and sis got herself a jacket. I'm a lousy shopper. I don't really know how to shop when everything is so messy and my claustrophobia makes it difficult to squeeze among the crowd. Very uncomfortable. I realized I'm becoming an extremely parasitic shopper. Not money but advice. I need someone else to tell me things look good or bad. It's like I can't decide for my own. Love my sis as my shopping partner. She doesn't care about what I think, she just cheekily say whatever she wants to. Precisely what I need.

My favorite buy. So casual looking. =)
This one is really comfy. Nice to attend classes with.
I like long sleeves that wrap fittingly around the wrist.

I feel the grievance of the sales promoters. They need to refold the clothes nicely all the time and just after a while, shoppers would mess them up again, then, they'd need to start from scratch. They must have silently wished no one enters. haha...That was what Isabel and I were hoping when we worked last time. It was funny. We'd be whispering to each other saying "Don't come in;these clothes are not your type; you better not unfold those shirts so on so forth." haha... fun times....

Good thing is the MNG's sale is until 4th January, according to my uncle. haha... I didn't spot anything I really like in Charles & Keith but the one that I was keeping an eye on for about two weeks now couldn't be found anywhere within their three corners. =( I got my eyes on another denim shorts from Padini but Ann told me to look for other comparative choices so, didn't get it yet.

Mum got me a camera. More accurately, won me a camera. Yup, mum won something again from those travel quizzes she took online. Yay! Wonder if she'll still get me something else for Christmas but I don't mind too if she didn't. I'd regard the camera as a Christmas present but of course it'll be nice to have errmmm.... a nice watch or necklace. hahhahaahahahha.... *My parents read my blog so hopefully they picked up my hint but it's alright if they don't... but it'll be nice* hahaha.... Moomie...Doodie... *wink wink*

I enjoyed my day today but account's draining rapidly like how shit gets vacuumed quickly into the sewer. Horrifying.

The Day The Earth Stood Still - Bla Bla Bla

Just watched that with Blackie just now. Wasn't really in the mood for movies in the first place anyway because I've checked all the movies and none of them looks interesting even this one and damn right, I was bored in the cinema. He finds it lame. At least Keanu is good looking. =)

There's nothing to do and nowhere to go when on a date in Kuching. sigh... boring boring boring.

Had a boring night although I was with him. Boring date. *yawn*

I wish there's a theme park in Kuching. I want to get my butt on a roller coaster, scream and laugh my lungs out. Better still if Blackie could sit beside me. =) Wonder if we'd have that chance. The only guy I ever sat next to on a roller coaster who's not a family member is the cute tour photographer when I visited Korea 5 years ago. haha... Awhh...photographer....The photographer during my first trip 6 years ago was cute too. He helped me carry my skiing gear and helped me get up the slope so I could ski down.He helped carry mine only and not other tour member's..muahahah!!! awwhh.... I love Korean photographers... I want to go Korea again!!! There was a possibility I could go this month but mum's tour group got canceled!! Why oh why.. =(

Kuching is boring. -_-" Can I jump to the conclusion that Malaysia is boring?? hehe... If only Malaysia is as interesting and beautiful as Korea.

I hope a visit to Spring tomorrow would be fun. Got a message from Charles&Keith regarding their new stocks and Ann told me there's a sale in Mango. Am in desperate need of new heels and shorts. Oh, I need to get Blackie's Christmas present. GrrRRr!!! Hopefully, I have enough ka-chings.

Men!! Hurry and Grab YOUR Bra Now!!!

Is the world still spinning in the correct direction?? It's appalling to know that there are bras made for men and they are actually hot sellers in Japan. Fascinating.

OOoooo... The next thing you know, hunkies would be strutting their "assets" on Victoria Secret's runway and the ladies would be topless. An exchange of gender roles. Haha

Awwhh...the man is bashfully covering his chest.. haha.. is this normal??

TOKYO (Reuters) - Who said bras are only for women? A Japanese online lingerie retailer is selling bras for cross-dressing men and they've quickly become one of its most popular items.

Since launching two weeks ago on Rakuten, a major Japanese web shopping mall, the Wishroom shop has sold over 300 men's bras for 2,800 yen ($30) each. The shop also stocks men's panties, as well as lingerie for women.

"I like this tight feeling. It feels good,"(LOL) Wishroom representative Masayuki Tsuchiya told Reuters as he modeled the bra, which can be worn discreetly under men's clothing.

Wishroom Executive Director Akiko Okunomiya said she was surprised at the number of men who were looking for their inner woman.

"I think more and more men are becoming interested in bras. Since we launched the men's bra, we've been getting feedback from customers saying 'wow, we'd been waiting for this for such a long time'," she said.

Since it's like the in thing, maybe we girls should help our fellow male pals get their brassier!! hahahha...

Happy Birthday Dearest Mummy

Yesterday, 11th December was my mum's birthday. It was really nice because every member of our little family got together to scintillate her joyous day.

Ann and I had this little plan to surprise mum with her Secret Recipe Cheesecake which she had craved for so long at 12 midnight sharp on 11th. We called up my uncle to help get us the cake and send it over to us when mum and dad went out. Dad was our untrustworthy accomplice.

We got the cake at roughly 10pm so Ann and I kept an eagle eye on the refrigerator in case mum opens it to get whatever. It was tough for a moment or two. I stood in front of the refrigerator while talking to her when she just got back and was silently hoping she won't want anything in it. Then, we constantly checked on her whereabouts. haha...

At 11.45pm, dad went outside for a puff and brought mum along as well and he gave us the signal to candle the cake while he stall her until midnight. Time moved like a two-legged tortoise. Dad failed and mum came back into the house at 11.55-ish pm but she was still surprised to see the cake. so near yet so far. ppfftt....
Ian was already asleep before midnight, thus, no pictures of him with mum.

At night, we went to Magenta for mum's Birthday dinner. It was nice having the whole family dine together at that comforting and serene oriental place. Pretty nice food and not to mention, in very generous portions too. Even my gluttonous brother couldn't finish his portion.

The birthday lady with her lamb shank
With her beloved prince
Her princesses
The one in yellow is her old cow!! hahaha... I must make sure my dad reads that!! hahahhahaha.... I'm such an angel... =D
My ever so lovely and loving sister.
Iannie and I. To respond to the comment he left in my previous post. Ian, I love you too!! haha
Got to be fair now. Ann and I
My lovely lunatics
Been a while since we three last took a picture together

Life Is The Greatest Gift

I'm really old school for knowing this news so late. I just found out this news yesterday after I stumbled upon this post. Read it guys!

It's about this 12 year old girl named Alvina who had cancer but manage to score 5As for her UPSR. She had stopped schooling since July and from then, it was all self study and she sat for the exam in the hospital. Amazing isn't it for being able to score straight A's for public exam amidst all those painful chemotherapy treatments and drowsy drugs. However, she had recently passed away. My deepest condolences to her family.

I would never dare to imagine myself in that position because I know I wouldn't have the strength to retaliate those merciless cells. Back when I was in Primary 6, I had no health problems but I only managed to scoop 4As. See, how amazing that girl is. What would you have done if you were in her shoes?? Fight or flee??

I read her sister's blog and it was full of touching sentiments. I find her really strong. I tried putting myself in her shoes and I really wouldn't be able to cope if I had lost my sister. *Choi choi* *Touch wood* I cannot lose Annie baby....we've sworn to be best friends forever and ever and thumb stamped our pinky promise already. =D I love you, Ann!!

That post I mentioned earlier was such an enlightenment. I reflected on how I had lived my life. I pretty much am wasting my life for endlessly focusing and complaining about my flaws. Seriously got to kill that habit. I am overly self conscious and I hate that to bits but it's so difficult to change. Sigh... If there's a will, there's a way right? I know I know but I only know how to use that quote, not practice it.

Are you living life to the fullest?? Daily vicissitudes make anything possible and any day could surprisingly be our last.

Anyway, read these to know more.

Happy Failure

Nyaha!! Plan failed beyond the possibility of convalescing. haha.... As mentioned in the previous post, I was suppose to work at the stall... haha..embarrassed as it is, I couldn't even last half an hour manning the stall and I do not know much about the jewelries and I definitely do not know how to palaver people to make their purchases. haha... I'm horrible when it comes to public relations. hahaha....

Actually, from the very beginning of the day, my plan to work was already crumbling. First, I woke up at 3pm. Shopping mall opens at 10am, thus, business starts at 10am. My sis was already waiting impatiently for me. At about 4pm, while I was half way getting ready, Blackie called and asked if I want to go for ice-cream. haha... Not just any ice cream you know. It's Sunny Hill's ice-cream, the one that I could never EVER resist. In Kuching, Sunny Hill sells the best Vanilla ice-cream. Superb! End up going for ice-cream instead while my sis and bro headed over to Spring.

Blackie then drove us to Spring. My mum's there helping at the stall since noon. My mum's the one who took all the merchandise so she knows them best and my mum has astounding public relations skills. She talks swiftly, simply effortlessly and she loves promoting and selling. haha... funny... I basically just stand or sit while looking at her talking. I'm very taken aback and impressed. haha... Blackie was there too with me for a while, looking at her. lol... Oh ya, my grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncle, and cousins were there too. They were just there to walk around and help out a little when there's customers. In brief, they all just enjoy selling stuffs. Rather amusing.

After spending a little time Blackie in his shop, we walked around Spring. Happy.. =D See, I'm so easily pleased... =p

So, today I introduced Blackie to my family for the first time and they all seem to like him. yay!! I'm glad my granny says he's nice. =D =D =D =D ^^ She depicted us as coffee and milk.. -_-" not because we blend well but because he's dark. haha...My granny is like one of the most important person to me and she's so caring and loving. The very instant she saw me, she hugged me, as usual and then she gave me goodbye kiss before she left. I love my granny heaps!!

After Blackie left, I just spend the remaining hours with Ann. Oh oh oh!! Isabel is finally back... muahahaha...shopping time.. I haven't really shopped yet ever since I got back... oooo... can't wait... I'm itching to shop for Christmas already... joy!

I'm so much more in love with those jewelries!! I wonder if my aunt would let me steal them home... =D

p/s: To a very dear friend of mine, I wished nothing had changed but anyway, be happy........ Miss u...

The Spring, Kuching

Lovely Jewels
Hey darlings! Prior to occasions, The Spring would allow small stalls to be set up temporarily so, since Christmas is just around the corner, my aunty set up a stall selling jewelries and some Christmas embellishments. It's located in between Nike and Giordano.

Every piece is unique and are imported else where. Ranges from cool gemstones to bona fide Swarovski crystals and even pure shells. There are funky and chunky ones, feminine ones, classy ones. Just a whole array of nice jewelries if you really know how to play around with them. Jewelries lovers, go check it out. They'll be there until 29th December. =D

The few that I manage to capture.
Dad's short. haha

I, being the good girl that I am, will be helping out at the stall tomorrow just for the fun of it. Later to be exact since it's past 12am and already 8th December.. hehe... Ok, you caught me. Mum is paying my sis and I if we work and I am craving to shop but am broke. Well, not only am I broke, I'm in debts. haha... I owe my brother some ka-chings so, to be solvent again, I got to work. Oh ya, remember I said my mum offered me RM 50 a day if I cleaned the house. hehe... I haven't started yet. My witty mum knows me best and that I despise house work, that's why she offered me that kind of easy money because she knows I was merely saying. -_-"

Theft!!!
Speaking of The Spring, I find the management foolish to the core of preposterousness. Yesterday evening, my mum went to help out at my aunt's little cute stall but, only to lose her handphone. She was partly at fault for leaving it unattended on the table but stealing is immoral!! She suspected that it was one of the salesgirl from Giordano because she came to the stall earlier on. There's not really many people that visit the stall at once so it's easy to pinpoint who.

She reported it to the management of course because there's a CCTV camera like just diagonally above the stall. It's understandable that the management wouldn't allow her to see the video but to add that the CCTV could not capture clearly is such a feeble. Don't you think? Then, what's the point of having the dirt low quality CCTV camera there? Just to paint a safer picture of the mall to shoppers? Puh-leezee...That's sheer dumbness which agitates me a lot. Forgive me, but I really hate it when adults give illogical answers and expect us to just gobble it in as though we are brainless cogs.

They even ask my mum if she was going to make a police report. I suspect that they are afraid of the hassle they need to go through if a report is lodged because with that, they would have to show the video to the police and you know how these things tend to leak to the public, hence, tainting their reputation. Imagine if the police actually go arrest the Giordano salesgirl, IF it's really her. OOoooo..what a scene, right?

We understand they want to save themselves from the probable commotion but at least let my mum know if it's really the Giordano salesgirl whom she highly suspected. When my mum went to Giordano to look for the girl, she refused to come out from wherever she was hiding. She said she was on a break or something like that. Now,isn't that just odd? If she's innocent, what was she afraid of and if she's innocent, she won't even know why my mum wants to see her right? Hrrmm.... fishy fishy.... My mum wasn't even planning to lodge a report, it's just a handphone after all. She just wants her contacts in the phone and knowing my mum, she won't even get the girl arrested.
The camera is just there. I'm no CCTV expert, but you guys tell me if you can buy the excuse from the management which is the camera couldn't capture a clear picture. Of course, it wouldn't be crystal clear but I'm sure the rough figure and image of the person could be seen.

Uh oh~~Christmas Dilemma

Alright sweeties! Need some help.

Christmas is like what..19 days away!! but I haven't gotten my thoughts straight on what to get Blackie for Christmas yet. I'm really clueless when it comes to presents picking for guys.

Blackie isn't the type that likes the cute approach. I got him some cute stuffs for his birthday but he wasn't blown away by far. Well, obviously. Hold in your laughters for what you're about to lay your eyes on. Be tactful. haha... I'm really bad at getting guy's gifts ok. =(
Gave him those and my very own handmade cornflakes cookies and the yumm-o-licious secret recipe cake.haha...

I kind of like went last minute shopping for his presents. Guilty!! I actually bought the heart pillow and the rather frivolous yet cute slippers the afternoon before his birthday dinner. I felt bad too that Joanne Lim had to rush to design my customized cup because I needed it the very next day.

I simply didn't have the time as I flew back to Kuching like only 2 days before his birthday so the shortage of time forbids me to scour through all the gift shops and shopping malls and thoroughly think through and consider. I just had to grab whatever there is. haha.. And mind you, Kuching is like an extreme treacherous labyrinth when it comes to gift hunting. You really need lots and lots of time to come across eye-catchy stuffs. Trust me!!

The embarrassing thing is that I used to laugh at my brother's soft toys from girls. I used to think that those are just plain ludicrous but he's alright with the cute approach though. Now, look what I did. Oooooo.... yes, I'm your contradictory monster. I actually really like the slippers because they're adorable and it screams when you press the toe. Was actually reluctant to give it away...haha.. It's pretty costly for a pair of house slippers. It was about RM70 but it's so cute!! Couldn't resist. The heart pillow was the best there is and I didn't have time anymore so just grabbed it. It's not very pretty. I wish he'd give me a heart pillow. I loved them since young. Still musing......

Now, for Christmas, cracking my head but nothing productive ballooned above my head yet. Sigh...

I'm giving him the Christmas stocking which I mentioned in the previous post after stuffing it with his favorite Ferrero Rocher and Famous Amos cookies and other chocolates. He's a chocoholic just like me!! Yay!! Going to try bake him some cookies or muffins but that's not a certainty yet because I'm a pathetic failure when it comes to baking. Going to get him Nike t-shirts, I guess since he's always wearing Nike's. Oh ya!! That day's Quiksilver half price sale was disheartening. Even with my brother's help, I couldn't find anything nice.

So you see how lame my ideas are. That's not going to work so, help me out!!! Guys!! What is it that you guys like and what do you girls give? Sigh... what a conundrum...

Christmas Decorative Gifts

I know I've said it numerous times but let me just say it once more. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!!... and all stuffs associated with it. My mum has a friend who kind of like use her house as a showroom for the hodgepodge of stuffs that she sells. Oh my gosh. The stuffs are gorgeous.

It's really half the battle to stumble upon extremely unique yet gorgeous Christmas embellishments in Kuching with good quality and affordable price. She imports those stuff from somewhere else so yea, they're unique and the price is sweet because I think she's doing it more on the fun of it and not so much on profit. Very inexpensive. Nice!!

That friend of my mum is impeccably nice too. Very friendly and accommodating. Like her and her stuffs. =D
She told me to lie down and make myself comfy whilst she chat with my mum in the other room. Hrrmm... maybe that was a way to make me feel less ostracized?? haha... nahh... just kidding..

Christmas is a time of giving and I so so so so drop dead love commercializing Christmas. Presents isn't an option. It makes Christmas all that more interesting and extraordinary.Don't you think so? Sadly, Blackie isn't much of a Christmas lover. Don't care. I have got to instill the love of Christmas into him regardless. =p

Let's start with Mr. Snowy. It's not just a still-good-for-nothing decoration. It can be opened and you can store stuffs in it. I have a fanatic fetish for snowman. They look so adorable. I can't contain myself. hahaha.. sounds as though I'm going to rape him...
Love these. I thought of giving this to Blackie's family. The vibrant colors and all are so Christmas filled. Not sure if they'd appreciate such stuff.
Gingerbread!!!!! You can open the house and make it into a cookie jar or something. The teapot and cup is adorable too.
My mum loves them to bits.
The legendary Christmas icon as a coffee cup.
This is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE!! It's gorgeous!! It's actually sweet pink but bad camera plus bad photographer kind of degraded it's beauty. Sadly, it's reserved by another of my mum's friend. It'll be such a great gift for Blackie's family or his mum at least.
The series of decorative plates. Placing it on the kitchen table definitely would lit up the Christmas atmosphere.
Miniature jewelry box like maybe store that one particular favorite necklace or something. Love it because it's a "monolith" of Mr. Snowy. haha...
The picturesque quaint Christmas stocking. Like it because it's not too fancy and it has Santa, the Christmas tree, the star, and Christmas berries. All the primary ingredients of Christmas.

Those two little lovelies are the salt and pepper shaker.
Simply picturesque.
I actually think these stuffs are similar to those of Russ but the price difference is inarguably huge. Russ' stuffs are a rip off. Just my point of view. I do love stuff from Russ, don't get me wrong.

In the other room where she sells clothes, accessories and all those whatnots.
My freshly recuperated sis who claimed to lost weight after being sick.

Yours truly. XOXO
neh-nee-neh-nee-boo-boo

I can't wait till Bel comes back and we can Christmas shop together. Hope all you guys enjoy your Christmas shopping too. Muacks!
