Contented!!!

Results are out!!! It's better than last semester's!!!! Thank God!! =D But it could've been better but i'm contented nevertheless. Public speaking which I complained day and night turned out to be alright but the culprit was Computer!!! GRrrrRRRrr!!! Darn computer!! Lesson learnt. Never take subjects that I've totally no interest in. Anyhoo... Extremely contented since all i wanted the whole time was to make into the Dean's list.
I'm so so so so so happy!! Thank you God!!

Previous Trip Home

I just woke up from my long awaited nap. The entire week, I haven't had adequate shut eye due to my immensely packed schedule comprising of tests, quizzes, presentations, and assignments. Just had both my Computer test and tutorial this morning and it was difficult, more so than the previous. After that, I rushed back to my room to finish off my public speaking 2nd presentation outline then, rushed to the academic block to have it printed because it was due at 4pm and I finished it at what 3.25? Something like that. It's not because I procrastinated, there's just no freaking spare time and doing a whole outline and doing it carefully takes time. After that, it was finally my nap time. aaaahhhhh......gratifying.

Having said that, the coming week would shine upon another parallel scenario.
Tuesday- Biology quiz
Wednesday- last public speaking presentation!! yay!!
Thursday- Economics presentation
Friday- Computer tutorial, it's on flowchart of which fills me with animosity -_-"

Anyway, I've been talking a tad bit much on studies. Let's reverse footsteps to last weekend when I was back in my sweet home. It was pure bliss. Although, I didn't get to eat all the food that I anticipated. How much could I eat in a meager 3 days where half of each day was used for sleeping. haha..

When I reached Kuching International Airport, Karvin came to pick me up and as if I wasn't already happy just to be home and seeing him, he was so sweet to get me a little surprise gift which he left on the passenger car seat. Do you remember the little rose he gotten me on Valentine's day from Memory lane? I love that little rose heaps and now, he gotten me a bigger one. tee hee... happy!! I find them really adorable. My sis loves them too and she was complaining how come she didn't have 1. tee hee....

Uniting big rosey and little rosey. Look, even my bedsheet has rose. If you're wondering, I love heart-shaped stuffs. Only the memory lane's flowers captivated me.

Ian, my beloved brother, as I've promised, let me show you the goodies I ate back home. I didn't get to eat all that I anticipated and craved though.

This doesn't look very appetizing but I'm telling you, that's the best salad chicken rice I've tasted in Kuching. Really delicious. oo la la...

Mr. Ho's Spaghetti in Alfredo Sauce. The creamy texture and taste is superb. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Mr. Ho's Signature Prawn Spaghetti which Karvin ordered. The pork cutlets are supremely succulent and you just can't get enough of it. The spaghetti was delicious as well. I hate prawns though.

Cream of the crop. LAMB!!! Ultimate favorite. This is the lamb shank from Magenta. This is the best. Omg.... I want it now!! And the butter mash potato....wooooshhh.... damn nice...

The honey lamb cutlets which I ordered for Karvin. He loves lamb too. hehe.... I love this one too... The glorious subtle sweet ending and the tenderness of the lamb - perfect

Muahaha!! My sweetheart!! Bing's hot chocolate. It does taste as good as it looks. Simply ambrosial!!! It's not the typical cheap chocolate that you get from most places.

That's it on food. Anyway, Karvin and I have been hand in hand for slightly more than a year now. hehe...

Our First Anniversary dinner at Magenta

Guess what he gotten me. hehe

A watch. Precisely what I need and it looks young
& casual. Good for classes. yay yay yay!!

The end. The next day, flew back to stress-stricken zone. -_-"

Quickie Update

I'm almost there. torture is always just ephemeral. I just did my 1st public speaking major presentation this morning. I wasn't sure how I did because all that ran through my head was time limit. I had been rehearsing all night till near dawn just to make sure I didn't cross 7 minutes. She's very particular about time limit. Anyway, regardless of how I did, I can sweep it off my chest already. But it's not until next friday that i will be slightly relaxed but relaxation is also just another brief zephyr.

Did my advanced enrollment already for next semester. I wasn't actually an early bird so I did not get all the subjects I had in mind. Decided to take calculus 2 although I'm extremely reluctant but it's a prerequisite for most US uni. What choice do I have? -_-"

The dilemma that I have now is I have both philosophy and world religions next semester. These two are those that need a lot and I mean a lot of reading and memorizing - regurgitation..

Tired. I haven't had peaceful sleep since Sunday. Am looking like a ghastly zombie now. Oh well... Marks are more important that beauty at the moment. hahaha..... Don't think I can score very well this semester.I think Dean's list is a far reach. =(

Am so tired. Going to rest a while and then try to get as many things done. Things that had to be done today are biology reports, public speaking outline, and economics executive summary
.

Exhaustion is keeping abreast with me. But I must surmount it! Optimism, please flood my mind.

Stress Induced -- Checked

Had public speaking class earlier today. I fell off short on time. =( When I rehearsed, I was in the supposed time range. =( Oh well.....very disappointed. Screw my fast pace of talking..shiate!

Then, she brief us through our upcoming tasks and boy, I'm left with a spinning head and numbness through my soul. My schedule was already brutally packed and now, worst and sadly, it's going to get a whole lot worst. I'm not kidding. Want to know what's left for me this month until the end of semester?? =D Oh joy, I'll share.

16th March - CSC tutorial
17th March - Biology test
18th March - Got to hand in public speaking's 1st major presentation outline & my last micropresentation takes place
23rd March - CSC assignment due
24th March - Economics test
25th March - Public speaking 1st major presentation
26th March - Biology Quiz
1st April - Probably Public speaking 2nd major presentation

Somewhere in between would be another CSC test and tutorial. Economics presentation is between the end of March and beginning of April.

So, there you go. The taste of American Degree Transfer Program is explicitly succulent. Yum!! Really give my life that extra pint of greatness. Aaaahhh....
"Jolly wolly olly"

Time is of essence now!! Ok.. breathe breathe. I need ice-cream now to calm my nerves. Intimart, here I come!

The Half Amazing-ness

I'm now at the computer lab waiting for class. I really hope we are going to learn MS frontpage because I need to know it badly in order to do my next assignment which is webpage design. -_-

Just done my economics test half an hour ago and it is just so so so amazing because, I really feel so relieved. For the past week, I was so disturbed by the whole idea of this midterm test that carries a heavy burden of 25%. Last night, I was delving yet again on all the economics concepts and substances that would be tested. It was so pressuring when something strikes as foreign when it's already the 11th hour and on the other side of the fence, I had biology provoking me. It was horrible.

I feel that I didn't do too well for my Economics as I did not have enough time to elaborate on my points as I was totally oblivious of the time shortage. (Speaking of which, yo mummy dearest...tee hee... my birthday's coming...get me a really pretty watch..hehee...) We had only an hour to answer 2 essay questions. I spent a tad bit more time on the first question. Sigh... My second question, panic struck when lecturer announced that there was only 10 minutes left and I wasn't even half way through the 2nd question. haha... His questions were rather mind boggling I'd say because they were not straight to the point. They kind of inflames ambiguity as in you don't exactly know what the answer the question seeks. Wasn't really sure but not much time to dig out concept per concept to filter so just cincai la..Oh well.. I gave it my all but my all is never good enough....T.T

After this class, I'd have to torment my poor soul to bitterly engulf biology for the quiz later at 6pm. I'm hyper worried about that now. It's lighter as it's only 2 marks but still!! Never underestimate the minors..

Then it'll be research for public speaking and lots and lots of menial tech savvy knowledge on computer for the incoming test and tutorial of which the lecturer placed on the same day - simultaneously! Omg... can it get any worser? Apparently, as of now, no. heheheheh....After Friday, woo hoo!! It'll be pure bliss and fun over the weekends. You'll see why pretty soon. =D

More rants to come. Stay tuned... hahahhaa....

I can't wait until Friday when it's all done and over.... but at the same time I can wait because I am going to need ample time to feed my brain with adequate knowledge.Nyahaha...I'm such an oxymoron...I can't help but to be fickle minded..sorry laa...(>.<) Lil brainie, I'm so sorry to tell you that you're going to have to regurgitate a hell lot. I'm as sad as you are. =( I love you, my brain

Boo!! I'm Back...Hiatus Canceled

tee hee.... I'm bored and tired and lazy and sighing all day long.... blaaaahhhh.....

The supposed hiatus doesn't help a bit. It's deterring when I think about the opportunity cost of studying when I am blogging. haha... You got it right!! Economics is on the loose. Sigh.. Economics midterm is in 2 freaking days!!! It carries 25% in overall final marks. That spooks the crap out of me. That's a lot of marks!! I'm so worried about it because I'm far from grasping economics. Why do I even bother?? I'm not interested in social sciences. I just can't get them. Sighhhhh......

Oh well.... kind of went through my public speaking script already and hopefully all will go well tomorrow. Our assignment this time is doing a talk show. Exciting? Indifferent about the whole public speaking shenanigans already. She's so strict in her marking. =(

My plan today is to finish off 5 chapters of Economics (all brand new chapters of which every single word is unbeknownst to me...-_-"). That's just a target but looking at the time, it's already 1.12 pm and I need to rehearse the talk show thing with Madonna and Yong Shen later and that'll eat up some time. Of course, there'd be some distractions along the way. lalalalalalalalala...

I'm so stressed and there's no one I can turn to because my evil dad doesn't listen to me!!! When I even start just a meager 2 words about difficulty and stress, he'd say all the annoying things. Dad!! You come try la!!! eeeyyyerrr!! Then, I've complaint every single time to Blackie and probably he's bored listening either. My friends here are more or less feeling the same way and my extra complainst bring them extra pain so no can do. So, my trusty blog is here. hehe...

Anyway, chop chop...time to bury my nose in Econs. wish me heaps of luck... toodles..

Momentary Liberation

I just had my Computer quiz just now; biology test yesterday. I really pray they'd turn out good. I really need good scores else I'm doomed this semester. I'm very apprehensive about the subjects I'm taking this semester. None is appealing to me and none gives me the impression that I can score. That's why, I really need to reach out as far as I can to grab hold of coursework marks. That's the only way that would do me some help else finals would be intensely stressful. But, I'm a slothful undeserving slug.

I can't study when I don't feel the pressure of exams approaching but it's not nonchalance, I worry but can't study until stress comes banging my head. I just cannot assemble focus and soul to do daily revision. Sometimes, I really envy seeing those who studies every single day without fail. Seriously! Without fail. That's more than amazing. I get really intimidated but no action done. I wish I could sometimes. That's why, prior to tests or quizzes, approximately a week or so, I'll be very miserable, whiny, and impatient. When I call my dad and complain, he replies poppycock that I don't want to listen!! Daddy, you evil meanie!! hehe.. Luck for me, I have Blackie. muahahaaa... poor fella... over and over again I whine nothing uncommon...

I feel less of the heavy burden at the moment although I have yet to complete my biology report that's due tomorrow and also an animated clock of which I'm suppose to email to my lecturer also tomorrow. Pfffftttt..... And in a week or two, more tests and quizzes are coming. Oh "joy"!! -_-". Barricade after barricade before sheer liberation. =( I want semester break...quick! tee hee.... =p

On a brighter note, Valentine's Day is coming!! 2 days and counting, darlings!! So exciting! tee hee... Spread the loveeeee..... haha.... I sound like a junkie hippie.

Till next time, toodles...

Weee...Study Frenzy -_-"

This post is specially dedicated to my beloved parents. =D Mum & Dad must be feeling chills down their spine now. I'm sure they know I'm up to something fishy. Tee hee hee hee....

Moomieee Daadiiee.... I've been a goooooood girl..... This week starting from tomorrow is going to be extremely hectic. Tests, tutorials, assignments, and reports all eagerly rushing in with their evil grin one after another. For the past 4 days, I've been......

Studying Studying Studying All Day Long (slight exaggeration intended)

Everything's new...it take ages to absorb them...

Am exhausted.....

Hehe...mum & dad!!! Good girl, right? So, you know... errmm.... this Thursday right..... I might be going down to KL... hehehehe..... So right..... hehee... do you feel generous?? haha... Send me money to pamper myself after the harshness... Don't you miss me?? I miss you guys... hahhaha....

Sighh....

Back in school once again. From now on, the ride's going to be a hectic one. Assignments and tests would be pouring in endlessly soon... as a matter of fact, now...

I was terribly upset yesterday. I arrived in school at around 12pm yesterday and headed to class next. Had 6 straight hours of class. My public speaking speeches are not improving. It's never good. Really rend my confidence into pieces. Then, came biology class. Miss Nisha wouldn't allow me to hand in my previous biology report because I didn't attend that particular lab class. Devastated, tears couldn't stop falling. I researched and basically stayed up the whole freaking night just to complete that bloody darn freaking report. Sighhh.... There go my marks.... Shhhhhhiiitttt!!!!! I'm hating biology all the more now.

To add to my despair, I'm now sick. Feverish and fluish..haha..Of all times, it had to be now... when I have biology class tomorrow and thursday. haha...

On the other side of the fence,at least I have the whole season of 90210 to keep me happy thanks to the evil Jing Tuang who was super nice to go all the way to the airport yesterday morning just to transfer that to my laptop.

Wanted to do a picture post on my Chinese New Year but am very tired now. Toodles~~

It's No Surprise

Sigh... had been doing my biology assignment for the past 4 hours and all I've done is 2 questions. That's how slow my pace is. Goodness!! Couldn't pour maximal attention onto doing work. Focus kept drifting apart. Once again, I'll be going back to school real soon and prior to going back, I'm cuckoo - upset. Sigh...

Biology and Computer assignments incomplete;biology report untouched; haven't read a single word to prepare for coming tests. Ergh... hating it... Why am I always so lazy?? I'll usually sit my butt down to do work or study when I crack under pressure that is when deadlines are approaching but it's really taxing.... eg. now.... PppffffTTtt!! Tireddddddd.......

Anyway, I enjoyed my very laid back Chinese New Year. Will post about it after I'm done with all the shenanigans of my tedious boring assignments. Sighhh.....

Oikonomos

I'm having my first Economics test this coming Tuesday and as I've mentioned in previous posts, I don't get Economics. -_-" I cannot afford to flunk the test so yesterday, I started plunging into its tome.....more like drowning... The book is larger than my life at this moment as I'm hanging on its edges to survive... I can't really concentrate while reading it maybe because I'm anti-business and have no interest in it or maybe because I'm flying home soon. Tee-hee... =D

I was the only one in the supposedly reading room. Nice.. =)
Zeeee Boooook...
It's distracting to study in my room because if I do so, I'll study on the bed either lying or sitting down which makes me drowsy so I went over to the common room to study. The bed is like some anesthetic filled syringe, even with it's hard jutting springs. Sigh.... Speaking of which, I planned to wake up at 11am this morning but as expected, I failed. Woke up at 2.30pm instead. There goes my study time. The opportunity cost of extra sleeping time is less time to study. Really bad...

I have not exactly prepared for my speech. Tomorrow's Monday, another speech for Public Speaking class. pfffftt.... Thank God, Miss Freeman's such a sweet teacher. pheww...

Just now, Yi Ean invited me to play Big Two with her and Madonna. I used to love that game back in Primary 6. Haven't played ever since. Kind of forgotten but after a while, recalled a bit. It was funnnnnn...... And guess who approached victory?? Yours truly!!! =D
I won 7 games, Madonna 3 games and Yi Ean 2 games. Yay! Economics was involved too. Everytime you put down a card, you've to weigh the marginal cost and benefits and then think about the opportunity cost of putting down the bigger cards.haha zee crappiness is unbearable...
Yi Ean shuffling.
Madonna was explaining why she lost in the previous game.
Aranging..
It's late. Sigh.. Got to bury my nose under my Economics book again and start organizing my speech. lalalalalala....

Going home this Thursday afternoon. can't wait can't wait can't wait. =D

Uh Oh~~ Dilemma

Just when I thought I've settled down for this semester, my preferred lecturer for Calculus was rumored that he'd be taking a break the whole semester!! Oh no!! What would be of my Calculus 2?? At the moment, Mr. Chan is taking over his class temporarily or permanently, I'm unsure but I really don't get a thing he said. His teaching methods are very different from that of Mr. Nathan's. I really cannot afford to get a bad score which would pull my GPA into the gutter. NOOOooo!!! Not being ungrateful whatsoever but I was pretty disappointed with my GPA last semester after I thought through. Got to try pull it up although it's hell load of work. But Calculus is an impediment and with Mr. Chan, it's impossible.

Solution : DROP Calculus 2 this sem, pick it up next sem. Quite a few of us are planning to do so. Fortunately, there's still time for add/drop. Seldom a time things are smooth sailing. Now, I do not know what to add after dropping calculus. =( The last time I checked the courses' timetable, I can fit in Psychology or Chemistry. Safwana called me and say we can take US History 2 also. We both have the exact same timetable. =) I'm torn between Chemistry and US History now. If I take Chemistry now, maybe next sem would be slightly laid back?? I don't want to take Chemisty, Physics, and Calculus 2 in one whole semester. That,I'll await my demise only laaaaaaaaa. I still cannot make my decision because after what is done is done. No more add/drop after today. So dangerous. haha

Maybe it's wise to finish the US Histories here rather than dreading it and take it in US which would be way more difficult, I think since I'm sure US professors would be very particular and meticulous about their country's facts. Thanks to my big fat mouth for the past few days. I've been saying that I miss Professor Borges, my Sociology lecturer last semester. Now, I've got what I asked for, I suppose. He's teaching US History. -_-" Ya la Lynn, talk more rubbish la next time. Errghh...*slap slap*

I thought of taking Psychology since my mentality is that it's similar to Sociology but I do not know how right I am and others say it's really difficult to score.. lalalalalalala..... dilemma...

Which to take?? These 3 subjects are the only ones that fits into my timetable.... woefully dilemmatic...

Update (4.36pm) : hahaha... I dropped Calculus and I took....Computer and Information Processing to replace it. Funny... Really never considered that... But I'm happy because sooner or later we'll need to take that too... And best of all, I have absolutely no classes on Friday! Joy... =D

All Set and Done

Yippedee doo daa.... I've pretty much settled down now. I've beautifully enrolled into Semester 2 as in my timetable's a darling despite the fact that I'd have to drag my slothful soul up from bed at 7am or so on Tuesdays,Wednesdays, and Thursdays. That's the drawback but then again, I finish classes at 12pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. That's great! I've only one class on Friday which is from 11am to 12pm and Monday's class starts at 12pm hence, I'd have nice weekends and feel less of them Monday blues since I can sleep in for a little bit more.

I'm taking Calculus 2, Microeconomics, Biology 2, and Public Speaking this semester. Errrmm.... I hope I can walk abreast with all of them but I'm extremely apprehensive about.......Calculus 2!!! No surprise right since I've been endlessly whining about it.

Public speaking class so far is my favorite because it seems rather interesting and relaxing now but we just had our first assignment just now. Every week we would have to present a speech and this Monday's our first! Coolie... Anyway, I really am hyped about this Monday's speech because it's about Madonna! Nyahahahahaha!!! We paired up and we are assigned to talk about each other and 3 unique characteristics of each other. This is fun! Right, Maddie?? muahaha!! Got to think deep and hard for the 3 weirdest things she does. =D We love ridiculing each other and we won't miss any possibility and even the slightest chance to step on each other's tail, verbally but she's starting to get physically aggressive as well;she slaps me! wtf! haha... As of now, she's the biggest bullshitter and swiftest communicator I know of apart from my brother. Awwwwhhhh....aren't you proud,Maddie? haha

I shall digress now.

I want to go KL to hunt for some dresses for Chinese New Year but Maddie is reluctant to accompany me!!!! =( I want to exude my hidden flamboyance. haha.. Hey JUST KIDDING ok. Aiyo... shy shy.... hehe... I like my dresses last year and I really thank the person who brought me all around to look for them. =) Anyway, this year....I don't have anything much in mind except I want maybe a red dress. hehe... hrrmm.... not sure... Well, first things first, am I even going down to KL? hrrmmphh.... @_@

On a sidenote, hair oh hair, please grow faster. I went to get my hair done last Saturday at Alan Salon and as usual, I will let my hairdresser do his thing because I'm always satisfied with the end product but this time, not so much. First, he gave me a bit of red highlights to volumize the hair which I initially didn't know of(p/s: I've very little hair) and secondly, he cut me those straight without parting fringe or better know as bangs. Hrrmmphh... I like a little side parting kind of fringe. So, I'm just hoping real hard that those fringe will grow long enough for me to part and not look weird before Chinese New Year. *fingers and toes crossed!* sigh...

That's how my hair looks like after hours of sitting in the salon.

Now, my fringe is clipped up wherever I go. Utter sadness.

Weee...First Day of School

It's 4.15 am but my brain won't doze off maybe because I woke up at around 1am after my 8pm nap. haha....Am exhausted today. Add/drop is in process and at first, before I set foot here again, I was contemplating to drop Calculus 2 for a few reasons but Maddie and my dad told me to just stick to it since I'd need to take it some day. However, Fatin told me that Miss Dorothy said that Calculus 2 isn't of major importance and having Calculus 1 is adequate but I'm not too sure if I should take the risk and no thank you to the hassle that I'll put myself through in the event that I need Calculus 2. Sigh....

Had my first Calculus 2 class on Monday and Mr. Chan freaks the shit out of me. He was giving us the statistics for last sem results and only half the class passes, the other half failed. wtf! And he gave me the impression that he's the type of lecturer that will just do his part on teaching and whether you grasp it or not, that's entirely your own problem and that he couldn't care less. He's nice and all, don't get me wrong but my confidence level totally hit rock bottom. I really really really hope I could change my section and get into Mr. Nathan's class. By doing so, at the very least, I might have some confidence not to flunk Cal 2. *fingers crossed*

I feel that this semester is tougher. Biology 2 seems to be more difficult, public speaking class wasn't as simple as I'd imagined, Cal 2 had always been a nightmare but with Mr. Chan as my lecturer, delirium. I've yet to see for myself how microeconomics and moral studies would be later.

And they say, the hardest time of studies is Form 5 and college/university is easier. Liars!! (>.<) Isabel Goh Kah Ling!! Miss you too babe!! Glad I went to see you before I leave.
Update 12.20pm : I managed to change my section for Calculus 2 but I had to drop Moral studies because they clashes!! Freaking good luck!! Thank God!!
