The Most Delicious Saint

Saints are always depicted as really nice, kind, loving, amiable, so on so forth - all good things in a compact package. The popularized Saint Nicholas for example - loving person who spread love on Valentine's Day. haha

There are heaps of Saints who are known for their own unparalleled characteristics or traits. However, there's this particular Saint who affably serves to satiate our taste buds. I haven't traveled the whole of Malaysia and I'm clueless as to how many palatable Saints there are in Malaysia so, after many years knowing only this particular delectable Saint, I still crave to plunge into its endorphins stimulated appetizing pool every time I am in Midvalley Megamall. Haha... I'm sure many of you shopaholics caught my drift already, right? hehe....

Since gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins then, I guess they are "cinnful"

Yup yup yup. I'm referring to the well known Saint Cinnamon. It's my mum's favorite too. She never fails to buy a few boxes home whenever she came shopping in KL. I used to despise it's odorous smell but starting from 2 or 3 years back, I suddenly came to embrace it and I loved it ever since. My favorite is undoubtedly the Chocolate one. hehe... But, the original and blueberry one are pretty toothsome too!

I'm literally drooling as I'm thinking about it.
Food in Inti are bringing many of us intolerable ennui because of the intense limitation of choice. The bundles to choose from are too little thus, customers cannot maximize their satisfaction which leads to inefficiency. haha... Mr Adrian is right!! We'll subconsciously apply economics in our daily life! Ok, sorry for the slight digresssion.

So, today, Madonna went to Midvalley with her aunts and muahahahahhahahaha..... I have my chocolate cinnamon rolls. Elated!!! No need to boggle my mind thinking of what I should eat tonight. yay!!!!!!!
This is how excited you'll get when you get to eat what you after extended brutal deprivation of proper good food.

The first thing I'm going to feed myself when I'm back in Kuching is Mr. Ho's spaghetti with Alfredo sauce. A luscious creamy taste like no other that one. Time for countdown - I'm going back in 5 days!!!!!
But till then, I have lots to do and study. Still have 4 more pages of Immunity to study(I take a long time to study a page) and I need to get a kick start on my public speaking major presentation outline. Let's not think about the rest first. One step at a time. Hectic.

Peek-A-Boo!! I See You

Well, what do you know.... I'm back home in Kuching!! tee hee hee... If I'm not mistaken, I pointed out that I have a little surprise for my parents soon to come... This is it. hehe... It was really fun actually.

At LCCT, I called my dad to chat a little and I told him I miss him. He immediately answered "Don't pretend. I know you want to come back home." haha... Then, I called my mum and tell her I miss her. Her answer was exactly synonymous to dad's!! haha.... Talking about understanding parents, I sure am blessed. At the end of the conversation, I told them I have a surprise for them which would arrive soon. Sidesplitting enough, mum said thank you. hahha... They expected something from the mailman. She called me around 4pm to ask what I was doing and asked where's the surprise because the mailman had not come. haha...so cute.

Blackie bought me air ticket back home for .......guess what. hehe.. Bonus question. haha... This was planned last year.

Valentine's Day of course which happens to be tomorrow!!! I am already at the pinnacle of gaiety although I've no idea what Blackie's plans are. Anyway, it's my FIRST proper Valentine's Day in my entire 19 years of life hence, the exhilaration. Jolly joy joy....

I've been craving like a beggar for BBQ puffs and "Baci" from Desserts and I've been constantly whining to him like an old lady basically everyday for a week or possibly longer so, he helped put an end to those cravings just now. Ooo... Gratifyingly delectable. Yum! =D I think Dim Sum is the best Chinese Food.

However, I've yet to get a proper gift for Blackie. I'm seriously blank when it comes t0 gifts for guys. Furthermore, it's Blackie. He's not some simple guy where I can pick a shirt and pack it up. But pity him somehow. Valentine's Day now ; two weeks later would be my birthday; another 19 days after my birthday would be our first anniversary. Muahahaha.... Presents and more presents!! Lovely!

I'm out of ideas and money. How am I going to get him nice gifts? Time to rob the bank. -_-"

Anyway, it's always nice to be back home. I'd grab every possible opportunity there is to come home. tee hee...

Momentary Liberation

I just had my Computer quiz just now; biology test yesterday. I really pray they'd turn out good. I really need good scores else I'm doomed this semester. I'm very apprehensive about the subjects I'm taking this semester. None is appealing to me and none gives me the impression that I can score. That's why, I really need to reach out as far as I can to grab hold of coursework marks. That's the only way that would do me some help else finals would be intensely stressful. But, I'm a slothful undeserving slug.

I can't study when I don't feel the pressure of exams approaching but it's not nonchalance, I worry but can't study until stress comes banging my head. I just cannot assemble focus and soul to do daily revision. Sometimes, I really envy seeing those who studies every single day without fail. Seriously! Without fail. That's more than amazing. I get really intimidated but no action done. I wish I could sometimes. That's why, prior to tests or quizzes, approximately a week or so, I'll be very miserable, whiny, and impatient. When I call my dad and complain, he replies poppycock that I don't want to listen!! Daddy, you evil meanie!! hehe.. Luck for me, I have Blackie. muahahaaa... poor fella... over and over again I whine nothing uncommon...

I feel less of the heavy burden at the moment although I have yet to complete my biology report that's due tomorrow and also an animated clock of which I'm suppose to email to my lecturer also tomorrow. Pfffftttt..... And in a week or two, more tests and quizzes are coming. Oh "joy"!! -_-". Barricade after barricade before sheer liberation. =( I want semester break...quick! tee hee.... =p

On a brighter note, Valentine's Day is coming!! 2 days and counting, darlings!! So exciting! tee hee... Spread the loveeeee..... haha.... I sound like a junkie hippie.

Till next time, toodles...

Delayed Chinese New Year Post

I've been putting this post on hold for quite a while already and I thought I better get to it while it's still Chinese New Year, speaking of which, I wont have my "Chap Goh Mei" dinner with family this year. Awwhhh....

My blog is turning stale and getting mundane by the day. You must be bored. My apologies. I'm chained by piles of work of which I'm doing in an extremely unbearable slow pace.

Anyhoo, I'll just get to the point. So, my Chinese New Year was a very simple one though I claimed to be a fan of festivities, I don't actually do much. Festivities are nice especially when they draw closer and you start feeling their jitters. hehe... My family doesn't visit much but at least this year,we had an open house so, got to see more people as compared to last year.

As usual, New Year's Eve dinner at grandma's. Simple but palatable. Gratified.
We love granny's new mirror.
Been featuring a lot of Tyler but I can't help it. Love him to bits.

When the clock stoke 12am, need I say more? Understood right? Bang bang bang.... Fireworks and firecrackers killed silence besides huffing and puffing horrifyingly pungent smoke. The entire place basically reeks of smoke and that particular time in Kuching, there was no wind thus, stagnant smoke everywhere inside and outside the house. *chokessss*

Injuries to the lungs.

First Day.... According to Chinese astrology, my lucky color on the first day is red, hence, the red kimono dress... I don't exactly believe in all those but just followed for the fun of it and there's no harm in doing so. (actually, I really need lots of luck this year especially when concerns studies..hehe)

Visiting grandma. Always the first house.
Dad and Mom... I just realized... matching color!! The old flame's adorable.
Tyler in
samfu. Cute!
Ann looking so grown up. *teary* haha... I forced her into buying high heels. She's 16.Got to instill the idea now before it's too late which reminds me of the peribahasa I use in nearly every BM essay "melentur buluh biarlah dari rebungnya". haha... One day, she's going to have dying propensity to shop for heels heels & heels. muahaha... Then, we can share so we have more choices. (the whole purpose) =p Sorry Ian, no pic of you on first day.
Sis friends came and they played some game with the punishment of drinking unique concoctions of whatever edible food that comes to mind.
That's Desmond eagerly wanting to drink up what his talented bartender friends made for him.

2nd day... visited mum's friends and Blackie.
Mum and her bestfriend. (They talk on the phone every night..sweet isn't it?)
Ann and Mavis, Aunty Mui Hong's daughter who happens to be Ann's schoolmate.
Ian & Ann
Did I mention we love mirrors?
Met up with Isabel, Aixora, Kelvin and Blackie's house.
Miss miss miss you, Bel!!
3rd day - Open House
Mum and her friends together with grandma and Iva.
Ann and her swarm of guy friends. There were more. They were scattered so couldn't capture everybody.

Stephanie, Chrislynn, Magdalene, and me. It's been so long since I last met them. Glad to see them again. =D
Jing Tuang!! My long lost friend. He was the pionier of my evil label and he is still living up to the stigma I gave him. Evil meanie but he's actually a really nice friend.
He is a considerably good pianist. Guys that can play piano - enticing! haha....
My Lulu "ee ee" is back from Aussie. She's like my Godaunty or something like that. The caucasian is Matthew, her betrothed. I look like a blood-sucking-junkie in that picture. I now agree that flash is a spoiler.
Roger, Alvin and my bro, Ian.
Ian and his girl pals. Sorry Iannie, I didn't take pictures of your other friends that came. tee hee..
My bestfriends. Isabel, Athila, Aixora, and Joanne.
The dark guy there is Blackie. Maybe I should change his nick to Brownie. It's more precise. haha...
No need for introduction to who that lovely girl in white is right? But anyhoo, she's my BFFL! She's going to be my bridesmaid in the future! hahaa....
Bro, Bel, Xora
5th day - Watched Redcliff 2.... Ahhh....I can't ever get enough of China's history. Adore it to the core... I'm always musing to be in one of those ancient people's shoes.. temporarily. I want to know how it feels like to be the demure and subservient ladies especially to the revered warriors. So cool... I really don't mind taking a leap back into those ancient Greek times too where people wear togas. Love love love!!

6th day - Visiting my infamous 2nd cousin, Jessie Chung.. She's actually really nice and gentle with nice slender legs.
That's her in white.

That's all. Sweet and simple. Really tired so sorry for the typo if there's any. Adios amigos

My Christmas Wishlist

I can't stress enough on how much I loveeeeeeeee Christmas. The atmosphere of Christmas itself is lovely enough. The soothing sounds of Christmas carols to the warm family gathering is inexplicably joyous. It's just so calming and loving. Love love love Christmas. It'll be so much greater if we had White Christmas here in MALAYSIA which is near the EQUATOR! GrrrRRr!

And of course, presents are as lovely. =D I remember when we were younger, mum would bring us shopping and we were allowed to buy quite a few. My sis and I were Barbie dolls addict back then. All we bought were Barbie merchandise. Oh, and those DIY nail art and play dough machines too. My brother who was a video game junkie, asked for none other than Nintendo and Sony games. You know the tape type. No disc games yet that time. haha....

After purchasing what we wanted, we would stare at mum wrapping them up and embellishing the tree with lots of presents. Daily, we would just sit in front of the tree and start arranging and changing the positions of our own presents nicely and admiring it while anticipating the day we could open and embrace them.haha...the old days were fun..

My impatient brother used to open his presents beforehand and then replace it with his old video games so he could pounce right on with his new one. haha... Silly dumbbell. Oh oh oh!! Speaking of brother. He's coming back home this Monday, err wait... tomorrow's Monday. Weeeee!!! Haven't seen him for 4 months. Miss his annoying ass.

As we grow older, our presents get lesser and lesser. There's only 3 things that I'm musing to own. But being the *ahem* rational person that I am, I'm just going to let mum pick whichever she wants to give me.

I want a camera to meet my narcissistic needs. hehe... The one which I really really really liked since last year is the red DSC-T300 but it's too expensive. Would be grateful to settle with the DSC-T2. =)
Drop dead gorgeous!
Adequate. ^^

Still, I think maybe it's a bit too much to ask. I should save up and get it myself.

So, I don't mind getting a nice watch. Perfect for my unpunctual slothful self. Haven't eyed on any particular one yet. Don't mind the Fossil Charm Bracelet Watch though.
The other option would be mum's suggestion of a necklace. Don't mind that too. =)

If only Santa really exist and I wake up having all 3 of these.Utter bliss. haha.

Christmas Preparation

So exciting!! Christmas is drawing closer and closer. Happy happy joy joy!! My ultimate favorite occasions are Chinese New Year and Christmas. One gives me money and the other presents. Splendid! muahaha.... I haven't really decided what I want this year though. Oh, we ask for the stuff we want from parents instead of the original ritual of accepting mystery presents. I'm sure most of you guys do that too.

Anyway, there's so so so so many things I want to buy for Christmas. Dresses, blouses, heels and lots more. Sad to say, money is such an impediment here and it's such a pity and heartache to see my bank account draining out. The stuff I want are pretty costly and I feel bad to ask so much money directly from parents. So, I got myself hired. haha..... by my mum.

I'm a lazy bum. Well, so are my siblings. We basically don't lift a finger at home. Mum and dad does all the work. hehe... They provide us with maximum comfort in life. All they want from us is good grades. Aren't my parents superb? hahaha... Bad for us in a way but I'm enjoying every bit of relaxation I get. Now, you see why I'm so looking forward and exhilarated to come back home when I'm studying?? hehe... But wait, that doesn't make me or my siblings bitchy spoilt brats ok. =D

So, I made a deal with mum. I told her I'll clean up the house and she'll pay me. She agreed. Muahahaha....After some negotiation, she agreed to pay me RM50 a day and I said I'll be working for 10 days. She said ok. WOoooooo!! Happy!!!! Of course, my personal assistant is my beloved dad. hahahahah...... Being the evil ass that I am, *grin* you know who'll do the dirty work. haha... I've high fived with my mum already as a sign of our agreemend. muahaha!! This is an extremely good deal that I got, right? Aren't you happy for me? lalalalalala...

Anyway, Mum and dad had already put up the Christmas Tree. The first step to Christmas.

I love my Christmas Tree but it looks so naked without presents.
I love the tiny tree and the super adorable White Santa too..

Update!!
There was a new addition that mum brought back last night of which I adore so much!! It's Mr.
Snowie...

Look at him. How could you not love him. He's such a sweetheart.

Sociology Trial

My sociology trial is over. It was really heaps of fun. Everybody dressed according to their roles. It was held on 22nd October 2008 in the FOLA room at 4pm. Like any trials, there'd be a prosecutor and defendant group. I was on the defendent's and we lost. Poor Dr. Pinkerton was sentenced to death by hanging. Awwwhhh...

Ok, our case was about euthanasia : mercy killing which was illegal under the law of Worldville. However, Dr. Pat Pinkerton, a physician flout that particular law and performed euthanasia on Mr. James Jankowsky, a social studies teacher who claimed to be an extremely depressed man; he hated his job and the news of his liver cancer had an alarming impact on him which enhances his depression. Our verdict was that, Mr. James Jankowsky persuaded or forced Dr. Pinkerton to help end his miseries through euthanasia. But, the prosecutor's side claimed that Dr. Pinkerton was the one who persuaded Jankowsky to undergo euthanasia to earn money to clear off his gambling debts. The story got a lot more interesting after some developments.

We pushed the blame of the gambling debts to Mrs. Pinkerton (prosecutor side) and Dr. Pinkerton borrowed money from the loan shark just to help clear off his wife's debts. We stated that Paul Pinkerton, Dr. Pat Pinkerton's brother who is a multi-billionaire was willing to help clear off the debts.

However, another development accused Dr. Pinkerton of intentional murder because according to the development, Ben Bollan, Dr. Pinkerton's assistant was overheard at the bar on September 13th 2008 saying " I knew he did it for the money but at least he paid me well for it". We twisted the development to be some misinterreted set up by saying on 13th Sept, Ben Bollan was having a vacation at Paris. But then, woooshhh.. the sharp minded prosecutor side ended up getting us appalled by saying Ben Bollan was overheard at a bar in Paris. We assumed that they accused overhearing him in Worldville. We were short sighted. Blehhh....

I played the role of Mr. James Jankowsky psychiatrist. I testified that Mr. Jankowsky was an exorbitantly depressed man who wishes to end his life. I also had to made it clear to everyone that Mr. Jankowsky was aware of his decisions and he was always in full control of himself. He wasn't mentally instable. Thank goodness I was a psychiatrist and not a psychologist because the lawyer from the prosecutor tried to shoot me by asking "Do you know the psychological fallacy?". I told him to explain because I didn't know then I remembered psychology and psychiatry are two rather distinctive field so I answered him that. Thanks to last minute minuscule research the night before trials. haha... I managed to answer all questions smoothly despite the nerves that were hitting me. My groupmates told me I did a good job. I'm so happy. *peace*..haha....this peace thingy is very popular now... it has hidden meanings...

Overall, the juries reached a verdict of guilty!!! Poor Adhwa who played Pinkerton. haha... But Tan, our lawyer did a spectacular job. She's sporting and so diligent the entire time and best of all, she doesn't give us any unnecessary pressure or anything.

After our case, we had to be juries for another case;the case was deliberate murder. The whole thing ended at 12.30. Then, we stayed back to take lots of photos before the whole bunch of us went to Al-Salam for dinner after that. After dinner, 5 of us, Madonna, Hidayah Khalil, Hidayah Ismail, Fatin and myself perambulate slowly along the so called couple's path in college and camwhored the whole way back to our furthest hostel block. So fun...

Before the trial started. Liyana,me,Fatin and Safwana. They are all in the prosecutor group. I was the only outcast. haha... all my friends are in the prosecutor's so they kept rubbing in my face the fact that they won. ish ish...hahaha....

Listening attentively to the testimonies given by witnesses in the prosecutor's side. Our co-lawyer,Izham giving in his utmost full concentration...

That's Adhwa a.k.a Dr. Pat Pinkerton giving his testimony in hopes to save himself from death.. haha..
The evil prosecutor's group... =p

We're the wrongly accused defendant's group.. ^^ sorry for the bias... Don't kill me, Maddie

The judge and his peculiar gavel.. that's Professor Borges, our Sociology lecturer..

It was then our turn to be the juries for the next case... we find the accused, guilty!! haha..

After both trials were over, we all happily indulge our narcissistic selves with some camwhoring pleasures. =)

Si Ning, me, Prof Borges, Tan

Defendant group and Judge Borges

The Pinkertons..Hidayah(Patty Pinkerton), Chloe(Penny Pinkerton), Adhwa(Dr.Pink) His wife and daughter testified against him... tsk tsk..painful betrayal..

Tan (lead lawyer) Izham (co-lawyer) for our group.

Battle of the lawyers. Tan(defendent's lawyer) vs. Yee Jie(prosecutor's lawyer)

Izham, Adhwa, Amir.. doing a rendition of how Pinkerton died..
peace!
Professor Borges & I

On the way to Al-Salam.. it was a long but happy walk..

Finally, seated in Al-Salam

Fatin and I

On the way back after filling up our hungry bellies.... Madonna and I caught in subtle lesbianism.. haha...

We're just misunderstood... lalalala....

I've more pictures to upload but the connection here is killing my patience. Just to upload those above, I've squandered 2 hours. I haven't studied for finals!!! Lazy.... how??
