Last Year, Today

1 year had passed. SPM results are out today and congratulations to all that scored well. Congrats to my darling Kristen for obtaining straight A's. St. Teresa Secondary School's results drop a bit this year though. Only 4 straight A1 and altogether 16 straight A's whereas last year, there were 6 straight A1 and altogether 24 straight A's. Nevertheless, congratulations to all. They must all be having a feast of joy today and from tomorrow onwards, they'd be scouring for scholarships. haha...

Last year, this time, was one of my most blissful day. Not only because of my SPM results but there's something else too which I never really told anyone. hehe... How I wish to go back in time to a year ago.....

The day before SPM, Blackie asked me if I'd want to go yam cha with him the next day but I told him that depends on my results. If sad, how to go out right? The next day, we went out for hi-tea...lol... He came to pick me up, and the first thing he did was asked for my results and I told him and he was taken aback. -_-" He thought I was just going to pass SPM with B's and C's. Proves that I have the not-study-material face. haha...oh well... don't really mind actually...

After munch munch sip sip talk talk, he drove me back and when I was almost home, he professed his affection for me. hahahaha...sounds disgusting right? haha...that's the whole point. That time, I still wasn't that that that close to him and I'm actually very shy and reserved to people whom I'm not close to so, I didn't know how to answer him. haha... All I did was smile in a very awkward manner. haha....

After he was done saying all he wanted and I didn't respond much, he then said maybe you want to consider about it? Immediately subtly nodded. hahaha.... Part of the reason to why I held back was also because it was 12th March. Why not 12th March?? Secret. ^^

Deep down, I was very happy when he told me he liked me because at that time, I liked him a bit already. tee hee.. I won't be going out with him if I don't.

I was already supremely elated because of my results and what he told me could be depicted as the delicious creamy whipcream on top of my ice blended chocolate chip. ooooooo....starbucks..... i'm deprived of you here.... speaking of which, opposite the ATM machine now, there's the LG truck promoting their ice-cream phone and there's Baskin Robbins sign on it. It gave me so much hope that they'll be Baskin Robbins ice-cream but my hopes all came crashing. boo hoo... But, the ice-cream phone is really lovely and sweet. I want the pink one. Can I have that as my belated birthday present, mum? Please. =D
Ya la, I know the answer is no la. hrrmpphh.. (>.<)

Nap time. Goodnight.... XOXO

Friends from St. Teresa Secondary School

I absolutely miss all those secondary school times with my dear friends. I, like many others never thought I'd be missing secondary school. Was actually eagerly anticipating the day I can step out of school to breathe the air of emancipation. haha... how wrong was I.

When I to turn back and mulled over the events of my secondary school life, I realized how I missed and wished to live those days again. But I guess I wouldn't be missing it if I didn't have those friends who scintillated every bit of my secondary school years. Sigh.. how I miss all of them, now that every one of us had parted ways.

I have a couple of best friends in school and those dare devils really added so much sugar, spice and everything nice into my schooling life.

Isabel is the super adorable, perky, fun, nicest, caring, insane, and lovable girl whom I sat next to for 3 years.
Joanne is the loudest, smartest, hardworking, pretty hot and tempting, funny yet lovely girl whom I sat next to in Form 5. I was clamp in between two of them in Form 5. Life was amazing. The 3 of us love love love Korean Acts....oh how we enjoy talking about Korea's what's hot and what's not.
Aixora, definitely the most humorous, most unpunctual for school, really optimistic, great at socializing, nice, and pretty girl who feeds us with latest happenings.
Ivanna, awwhh...this girl... super cute, loud, has contagious laugh, prim and proper, gentle, hardworking, tall and she's far away in Russia now. =(
Rachael, our squash player, tallest among us, loves tan skin, has really pretty eyes and damn kissable lips, really healthy(feeds on fruits) and she loves dogs and cats!! errKK!! hahaha.... I'm animal phobic. =)

Of course, there are many other good friends that spice up my life. Too many to list and I don't want to hurt anybody if I so happen to forgot to list them down. Will introduce them in pictures. Errmm... Will bold their NAMES in captions...

I really miss the times where :-
1) My best friends and I gather and just talk about any random thing and laugh nonstop
2) We illegally ate in class when teacher is teaching
3) Ivanna got caught eating and she looked so worried..haha
4) Isabel and I borrowed textbooks from other people since both of us never brought out textbooks to school... oh how the others gave us their unpleasant glare
5) We borrowed other friends homeworks to copy when the due date to hand in was the next day (none of us ever really completed our homeworks)
6) We stayed in class to talk for quite some time when others when to laboratory and we'd join the class late
7) the 6 of us just walk down to church together to wait for our parents after school

In brief, I just miss the times where my best friends and I do everything together or just simply sit in Coffeebean and talk the day away. It's so hard for all of us to gather together now. We all have different schedules. Like now, only Joanne and I are having holidays. The rest, not sure when.

Pictures time.... but the many picture files that I have are GONE!!! My comp was reformat and now all I have left are these.... All the Leo functions and birthdays that we attended, I don't have them. sighh...

Form 5 pictures
p/s: All of them look way better than in pictures ok. Everybody looks not as good in school. Furthermore, these were taken close to SPM so eyebags and all are really prominent. All my friends are gorgeous ok! >.<

The Breath of SPM

OoOOoo.... A year had silently past... Form 5 students this year are now having their long anticipated battle with SPM examinations. haha.... I still find it difficult to believe that a year had past and last year, this time, I was in that particular battlefield. Nostalgic. Well, it wasn't even that long. haha...

Sad thing is that, I barely remember how I felt during SPM. Regret not penning all those precious-once-in-a-lifetime sentiments last year.

I remembered that the first day, we had Bahasa Melayu paper and
History1. Thank goodness we had History that day which means I studied for it and it's freshly regurgitated by my brain. The essay question I did for my BM paper was inextricably linked to History. It was about our nation's 5 principles. Phheewww!! So, had a tiny bit of confidence for my BM that time. haha... I remembered I was sick but luckily sore throat and cough only. I lost my voice for a bit but if it was fever, I would have been dead! Thank God!!!

Hrrmm...what else?? Think think think....

Oh...one of the essay question for Chemistry was peculiarly easy beyond believe but I could be wrong though. They gave a picture of an atom and in the middle, it states 1p 1n. Something like that. And the question was describe the atom. Freaky huh?? All that is describable is that it has 1 proton, 1 neutron and 1 electron and that it is not stable and needs another electron to reach the duplet electron arrangement. Was that all?? I was pretty worried about that actually. haha...

Additional Mathematics. haha... If you had been following my blog, you'd know I abhor maths. But the Additional Mathematics test was easier than the ones we had in school. But I kind of left one of the trigonometry questions worth 10 marks blank. still obtained A1 for that. neh-nee-neh-nee-boo-boo... But I was pretty sure that they must have lowered the needed marks to get A1.

Oh yea!! For my moral... I love being long-winded for moral. I just write all that is in my mind;I explain everything as detailed as I possibly can. The lines for answers are usually not enough for me. My writing isn't that big by the way. Surprisingly, Moral was harder than those we had in school. I actually didn't manage to finish everything in time. A bit more left. The invigilator who was collecting the paper from the row next to where I was sitting went "Girl, stop writing.. be fair to your friends...don't have to be fair to me but be fair to your friends." I stopped when she said that. Got to be tactful a little. Continued finishing my answers when she walked to the back. Come on la... it's my last chance. As much as I want to be fair to others, I want an A1. I cannot afford to leave it blank and in the event I didn't get my A1, I would stab myself to death with regrets. Now, why would I want to do that, right? =D

The last subject I sat in SPM was Biology. It was on a Monday. After weeks of hectic examinations, obviously I can't wait to get to the end of it and it's always the last exam that I just let go. Just so lazy to study. I kind of did that for my Biology. I skipped 4 really long chapters. The kidney chapter, the photosynthesis, the respiration and one more. Could not stay up to study anymore that time. As always, Joanne was my best exam companion. We both always burn midnight oil together. She calls and text me and we would pour out our sufferings. haha.. Every exam, without fail. Miss you, Joanne!! Thank Thank Thank God, those that I did not study didn't cost me a bomb. I was so lucky, now that I think of it.

Reminiscing bout SPM is so much fun now. I'm relishing myself writing this post.

After the last Biology paper. Boy were we relieved. Laughter and joy was igniting everywhere. We were overjoyed. The feeling was fantastic. Free FRee FREE!! We hugged each other goodbye and all that.

Days after the end of SPM, I still get nightmares of SPM. Dreamt that I didn't studied or didn't finish studying. All those stupefying dreams wake me up almost instantly and after some placating that SPM is over, then, head back to sleep. hehe..

During the entire stretch of SPM, my dad was always with me. During breaks between papers, he'd be picking me up to have lunch or freshen up at home. As long as there's 2 hours or longer break, he'd be there. haha...So sweet. Every time when I get all excited about my SPM results, he'd say he contributed a lot. Blehhh.... =p But, my dad ALWAYS underestimates me. He was expecting mediocre results from me. Oh how we squabbled that time. Mum was more supportive but she never expected me to obtain the results I obtained. Boo hoo!! Nobody believes in me. :'( But it's alright because the feeling of proving people wrong is completely satisfying.

Anyway, all the best to those of you who are having your SPM now. Give it your best shot. =)

Sociology Trial

My sociology trial is over. It was really heaps of fun. Everybody dressed according to their roles. It was held on 22nd October 2008 in the FOLA room at 4pm. Like any trials, there'd be a prosecutor and defendant group. I was on the defendent's and we lost. Poor Dr. Pinkerton was sentenced to death by hanging. Awwwhhh...

Ok, our case was about euthanasia : mercy killing which was illegal under the law of Worldville. However, Dr. Pat Pinkerton, a physician flout that particular law and performed euthanasia on Mr. James Jankowsky, a social studies teacher who claimed to be an extremely depressed man; he hated his job and the news of his liver cancer had an alarming impact on him which enhances his depression. Our verdict was that, Mr. James Jankowsky persuaded or forced Dr. Pinkerton to help end his miseries through euthanasia. But, the prosecutor's side claimed that Dr. Pinkerton was the one who persuaded Jankowsky to undergo euthanasia to earn money to clear off his gambling debts. The story got a lot more interesting after some developments.

We pushed the blame of the gambling debts to Mrs. Pinkerton (prosecutor side) and Dr. Pinkerton borrowed money from the loan shark just to help clear off his wife's debts. We stated that Paul Pinkerton, Dr. Pat Pinkerton's brother who is a multi-billionaire was willing to help clear off the debts.

However, another development accused Dr. Pinkerton of intentional murder because according to the development, Ben Bollan, Dr. Pinkerton's assistant was overheard at the bar on September 13th 2008 saying " I knew he did it for the money but at least he paid me well for it". We twisted the development to be some misinterreted set up by saying on 13th Sept, Ben Bollan was having a vacation at Paris. But then, woooshhh.. the sharp minded prosecutor side ended up getting us appalled by saying Ben Bollan was overheard at a bar in Paris. We assumed that they accused overhearing him in Worldville. We were short sighted. Blehhh....

I played the role of Mr. James Jankowsky psychiatrist. I testified that Mr. Jankowsky was an exorbitantly depressed man who wishes to end his life. I also had to made it clear to everyone that Mr. Jankowsky was aware of his decisions and he was always in full control of himself. He wasn't mentally instable. Thank goodness I was a psychiatrist and not a psychologist because the lawyer from the prosecutor tried to shoot me by asking "Do you know the psychological fallacy?". I told him to explain because I didn't know then I remembered psychology and psychiatry are two rather distinctive field so I answered him that. Thanks to last minute minuscule research the night before trials. haha... I managed to answer all questions smoothly despite the nerves that were hitting me. My groupmates told me I did a good job. I'm so happy. *peace*..haha....this peace thingy is very popular now... it has hidden meanings...

Overall, the juries reached a verdict of guilty!!! Poor Adhwa who played Pinkerton. haha... But Tan, our lawyer did a spectacular job. She's sporting and so diligent the entire time and best of all, she doesn't give us any unnecessary pressure or anything.

After our case, we had to be juries for another case;the case was deliberate murder. The whole thing ended at 12.30. Then, we stayed back to take lots of photos before the whole bunch of us went to Al-Salam for dinner after that. After dinner, 5 of us, Madonna, Hidayah Khalil, Hidayah Ismail, Fatin and myself perambulate slowly along the so called couple's path in college and camwhored the whole way back to our furthest hostel block. So fun...

Before the trial started. Liyana,me,Fatin and Safwana. They are all in the prosecutor group. I was the only outcast. haha... all my friends are in the prosecutor's so they kept rubbing in my face the fact that they won. ish ish...hahaha....

Listening attentively to the testimonies given by witnesses in the prosecutor's side. Our co-lawyer,Izham giving in his utmost full concentration...

That's Adhwa a.k.a Dr. Pat Pinkerton giving his testimony in hopes to save himself from death.. haha..
The evil prosecutor's group... =p

We're the wrongly accused defendant's group.. ^^ sorry for the bias... Don't kill me, Maddie

The judge and his peculiar gavel.. that's Professor Borges, our Sociology lecturer..

It was then our turn to be the juries for the next case... we find the accused, guilty!! haha..

After both trials were over, we all happily indulge our narcissistic selves with some camwhoring pleasures. =)

Si Ning, me, Prof Borges, Tan

Defendant group and Judge Borges

The Pinkertons..Hidayah(Patty Pinkerton), Chloe(Penny Pinkerton), Adhwa(Dr.Pink) His wife and daughter testified against him... tsk tsk..painful betrayal..

On the way to Al-Salam.. it was a long but happy walk..

Finally, seated in Al-Salam

On the way back after filling up our hungry bellies.... Madonna and I caught in subtle lesbianism.. haha...

We're just misunderstood... lalalala....

I've more pictures to upload but the connection here is killing my patience. Just to upload those above, I've squandered 2 hours. I haven't studied for finals!!! Lazy.... how??
